  1. I heard a lot of people have interference issues with them things. That's the only reason i have yet to buy one. Do you get interference issues with them or no? By the way that install looks clean, great idea to mount that sucker up. MMMM Shiny
  2. They are really common for failing rather than helping the rider out. No warning signs. One day you can be riding and the next day your sitting in your garage sad because your shee mysteriously does not start anymore. With tors people get a lot of no start problems. take that shyt out
  3. Stock for stock yes a banshee will out run a 250. As far as upgrades i would have to disagree. I have seen worked up 250r's out run cheetah banshee's. If i did not have a shee i would take a 250r anytime of day. They have potential in the right hands. A banshee it gives you a lot more options as far as upgrading and modding the bike.
  4. Honestly i don't think they should hurt anything running the mods you have. Depending on how much bigger the tire is it might mess with your take off/acceleration. It might be a bit sluggish from the start. Them tires seem to be for mud not too sure how they do on dirt or grass as you mentioned. I have seen a few people run them with no issues. If your tight on money or have a budget like many of us do you should check out the Honda radial tires available from FAST. I finally tried them out last weekend, i borrowed the pair from a friend and after hearing all the hype from them tires i was surprised on how well they hook. I will be ordering a pair for my shee and my kfx in the summer. They are cheap too. Check out FAST website and take a look.
  5. I really like the idea of this one seems interesting Savage another hand has a good one too
  6. NUFF SAID
  7. I actually used a combo of both. When i cut down my harness eliminating the TORS i used shrink wrap to group the wires then i used electrical tape to group them as well as a few zip ties. The rear brake light wires i ran them through the tubes of the frame, looks clean. The CDI was placed up front.
  8. I hate water and mud, just a bitch to clean up.
  9. So a swinger with no link, can you use the same shock or will that have to be changed?
  10. I always look for something that's suitable for wet clutch but most of ATF are suitable for that. I don't go too expensive on the ATF i usually change it out within everyother ride.
  11. Taking the Dog bone out, doesnt that mess with the geometry of the suspension?
  12. You will need to pack them, not only will it annoy you but everyone else around you. Also to mention the negative effects performance wise.
  13. Ebay has a few check em out
  14. You can paint them but without proper prep on the surface in a few rides it can look more crappy than what you started out with. For plastics you do need a adhesive promoter for plastics and a good surface to paint.
  15. What condition are your pads, you may have to replace that if bleeding them did not work, while your there get a set of new rotors (preventive maintenance is key). As for the coolant you can buy some at any automotive retail store or a bike shop. Here in AZ the outside temps reach 100+ and engine ice is what i been using in all of my bikes without any issues. it's about 20 bucks for a gallon i think.
  16. Twisted could'nt of said it any clearer, i just wanted to add when you do get your shee check out site sponsors here to get your fix on parts and bling, great people great prices great products. Any questions you may have a bout a build or a part they all have the knowledge to answer your questions. Good luck
  17. All right another site sponsor Welcome bro looks like you have some pretty good stuff in your site.
  18. X2 better safe than sorry bro
  19. LOL why do you run your bike at 5 in the morning in your neighborhood? A spark arrestor does make less noise.
  20. Well if you switched your cables and the same cylinder is getting the same symptoms, then you should clean out your carbs. It may be a fuel issue. Open them suckers up clean the bowls the jets and everything in between. That happen to my shee and it was a plug. Throw some fresh plugs in there it's just a few bucks. Even they may be like new they can get fouled or start to get fouled. Throw some fresh ones in there to take out that probability. I don't think it's your CDI.
  21. I jump my shee and get pretty good amount of air. I don't want to go too big like posted before the shee tends to bottom out. LOL if your 450 shocks are laying around let me buy them i can put em to good use lol. Theres a sticky posted up on how to install them badboys
  22. I like how descriptive he can get. braaap brappp, ding ding ding.......ding ding.....ding ding. Sorry i got carried away. I was thinking it might be a plug fouling or try swapping the plug wires and see if it changes to the other side, if it does it might be a cdi issue, try putting in new plugs if you already have not done so.
  23. If you decide to call out Loco don't let it be on the tire subject. LOL. Im just going to have to try them tires for myself i heard a lot of people other than hq saying a lot of good things about them tires. Might have to try them out.
  24. I took my first banshee there. It's like a 5 hour drive from AZ. I was cool but nothing compared to Glamis. The dunes there are okay but nothing as big as Glamis. To begin with you can't ride by the beach or at least i was told by the people from the resort we stayed at. You can ride through the main street of RP which can be fun because all the food and clubs are there. It was fun but it was a few years ago and pics i don't have. I am planning on going on the last weeks of May and do plan on taking my shee and a couple of 4 strokes, i heard a lot has changed. Im going to fumble up some of the old pics and see if i come across the few i did take.
  25. Anyone ??
