  1. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=99361 Also look or search this thread for a simular set-up. What pilot jets do you have in it? Most I have seen run a 27.5. 260 sounds lean to me, JMHO.
  2. X-2 on all this ^^^^^ Did you bother to completely clean the carbs? TORS brick on carbs? Set float levels? Have a Clymers or downloaded manual?
  3. I agree either RVT or Holimar sealant, 1194/1211 would be to much of a bitch. If you use these probably should wait about a day before testing as it has to set.

  5. Welcome to BHQ!! Start with the basics. Get either a Clymers repair manual or find the linc for download manual. Next, go through complete clutch adjustment process. Be sure drive sprocket isn't loose. Did you recently change the oil? If so, what kind of oil did you use?
  6. Shit, forgot that and neutral switch cover
  7. Well, two quarts of oil had to go somewhere. Few possibilities left, kick seal, sprocket seal, clutch arm seal, case mateing, or fucking hole in bottom. Reguardless seems there would be obvious evidence of where it got out, even if it happened on the first ride and it took this long to seize
  8. If you loose , turn in your powerband and get a Blaster. At least you'll have an excuse to loose
  9. Gorden Jennings Two Stroke Tuners Handbook. If you read it closely, this is a method for "Testing" a given port timing to see if it's what you want. Vito's pistons are made with the rings further down to accomadate the cut.
  10. Generally speaking if you're much less than one or mor than 2 1/2 turns out you have the wrong pilot jet, which only covers from idle to 1/8 throttle opening.
  11. BTW, welcome to BHQ !! Don't worry, be happy, most first posts are for a problem
  12. One of the wires is either grounding or touching another wire, or you did something without realizing it
  13. http://www.blasterforum.com/engine-13/effects-elevation-air-pressure-how-jet-accordingly-39872/ Close as I can find, if I even understand what you're looking for I'd start 310m, 27.5p, middle clip, 1 1/2 turns. It's up to you to tune, always start rich and work down if needed. Plugs are cheaper than pistons Also look through this http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=99361 Look at other stickies in this section
  14. Got a linc? Might all depend on shipping costs. Just finishing up a ebay "kit" from local shop. Was just as economical as getting crank here and pistons there to get the best price
  15. When you pull clutch cover and be sure the kicker idler spins freely as it's on other end of output shaft
  16. TORS brick on top or idle screws on side?
  17. Other than description is for 4joke, as is picture and is unavailable, tells me nothing
  18. Chain on or off?
  19. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=99361 Start by searching this thread for a simular set-up or search the whole jetting forum. Do you have a linc to the "article" you read? Was this set-up ever running or is this something you're just getting together? When tuning it has to be just like you plan on running it. Can't have air cleaner off and expect to get anywhere. Do you have correct bowl on the left carb? It has a small "BB" on the front. Are slide cutaways facing the air cleaner, slides can go in wrong carb backwards. Stock pilot is 25, try a 27.5 next with air screw 1 1/2 turns out. Double check float height. Have you done a leakdown test on it? Also might consider checking you water pump that it is operating properly.
  20. Just have to make sure arms are made for the longer shocks
  21. Who is "they". If "they" can't figure it out "they" shouldn't be fucking with it . Did "they" put the choke crossover tube back on? 3 inch tube between both carbs directly across from choke knob. Also is correct float bowls on correct carb? Left bowl has a "BB" on the front of bowl. Did you set float level? And is brass washer under both main jets?
  22. 0 ohms is an "open" circut, no power can pass, travel as in a wire is broke. A short is would read infinate as it is going straight to ground
  23. Biggest difference is how it adjusts. Round house uses ecentric (two different center lines) And you can figure stock. I do believe Stellar does sell just the pre cut tube for carrier. And Zilla, think about what you said as opposed to your "project"
  24. Wouldn't hurt to do a leakdown, especially with a new build. And it doesn't hurt to do it when they blow up to help determine why. JMHO, your results may, and will vary.
  25. Post a linc. To the best of my knowledge hot rods makes cranks and con rods.
