Because the guy before you adjust the idle screw and air screw with slide wrong way, put them where they need to be and adjust your idle or tors screw and air screw.
I have ran k&n half a season in fine dust sand with outwear and air box and sand blasted my ring and piston to death, filter clean each ride. I have switch to dual layer uni filter and ran the other half the season in same area and got zero sand in my carburtor and ring end gap are still the same as when assembly.
Uni filter if you are in thin dust sand!

Your are higher in elevation so, less baro pressure and less air in engine so your need go down on jetting. Too rich of a main should make problem only on wide open throttle
Im in quebec canada its 40-45 here too. Maybe your probleme is on pilot or needle circuit? What exactly dont seem righf?

I run mx hardcore ported cylinder from hjr racing and my jetting are 330 main 27.5 pilot third clip needle and air screw at one turn and a half. Im at 600ft elevation

If it was your engine guys, did you open up the case to completly clean the shit out of there, its not a big things to deassembly those banshee crank case

Piston and cylindre miced, ring are like razor blade and piston worn by sand pass my filter.
Do i have to run a a other brand of filter? I run k&n is it good for extra fine sand?
