  1. I would try putting your timing back to stock. And, I could be wrong.....but if your radiator is painted I've heard that could cause issues. I've heard the stock black on the radiator is there for a reason. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though.
  2. I would go up two sizes on your mains, then work your way down from there. Better to run a little rich, than too lean.
  3. Post some pics
  4. Part it out....
  5. Your selling it? Thought you just bought it? free bump
  6. X2. I've always ran VF3's and really liked them. If you don't want to spend $250 on VF3's...Wildcard Racing does a killer job on porting the stock reed cages, and I've heard good gains from that as well
  7. Yeah, pro circuits have a great low to mid. fmf's are great pipes as well, I just prefer pc's.
  8. X2. Personally I prefer Noss or Chariot heads over anything, and they are both site sponsors on here
  9. I run stock carbs on my aggressive dune ported stock stroke.. and this thing rips hard. X2 on starting big and working your way down. Better to run a little rich, than melt a motor down.
  10. $15,000 into it....I highly doubt that.
  11. 32:1 OR 40:1 is going to be the most common for Klotz. I've always ran R-50 at 40:1 with no issues.
  12. As for the pipes, for a good all around pipe I prefer pro circuits...but everyone has their own preference. As for more power, there are plenty of bolt ons you can do while leaving your internals stock. Pipes, cool head, filters, reeds, carbs, timing plate..etc.
  13. Never had that problem. Run it on reserve and call it a day
  14. For trails or mx, I prefer Pro Circuits or PT Mids.....your going to get a million different answers on the question though.
  15. You should smoke him no problem at all.
  16. Save a little more money and get some pipes. Hit up NYUK on here...he always has different parts and may have some used pipes for sale
  17. I would get some Pro Circuit pipes, Cool head or milled head, filters(I always run with no air box), reeds, ect... Honstly those 450 are pretty fast stock...but with a few mods you should be able to give him a run for your money. I beat piped 450's before I ported my shee with no problem. Alot has to do with how you set your bike up. As of right now, focus on performance bolt ons and you'll be surprised how much power increase you can get just from some good pipes on there. MAKE SURE...you re-jet though!
  18. X2. Utah is the same way on that.
  19. Thats perfect weather....damn i need to move to Cali.
  20. X2. A 4mil serval would be a sweet setup for you.
  21. I run Klotz. But maxima is good stuff, and the castor smells good
  22. Wildcard Racing builds one of the best 4mil set ups I've ever rode, amazing low, mid, and top. Hit them up
  23. X2. Damn, that sucks man. Get feeling better.
  24. Yeah I would look into getting some Pro Circuits and a 4mil crank. The 4mil will give you a better torque curve over a stock crank.
