ive never ridden the trails up that way i usually ride locally around me. no i doubt anyone ill be bringing will be breaking down lol. definitly have to get something going. i got a couple trail maps for the state of Maine ill see if i can get in contact with the atv club in that area and get a detailed map. I have only delt with the wardens around here and they arent bad as long as your registered and not on the snowmobile trails. im sure there is a lot of atv trail up round that way so not to much to worry about.
the stock one is just too long cant get any traction especially with the junk tires i have on. the shorter swinger should definitly help out and im not to worried about the hills there is only like one real good pit around here where the sand hills are very steep but the sand is real so soft so i can just bail. lol
YEAH BRO im down. chillen in Maine right now. i was planning on going on a trip up maine with my buddies this summer too. we should definetly get something together. my other buddy is new to the site just got a banshee a lil while ago he'll want to go.
I agree with mikenick on this one. i seen the charts. i trail ride and i also went from a blaster to a banshee. your gonna want a new rear end. shorter swingarm maybe -1. get the roundhouse swingarm with nice bearing carrier. +2 +1 front end. nice set of works or elkas up front. rebuild the rear shock. thats the next thing im doing to mine so i would recommend it for you.
I just use CLR lime and rust remover spray on let sit then wipe off. You can wipe off with some steel wool too if you want. The CLR wont dull the chrome either
ill add to this and say i bought brand new rubber intakes last year and im putting on new ones right now because one of them has a huge crack around where the boost bottle goes in
Breaking in a motor is just heating the rings then letting them cool. when i break in a motor i wont let the motor lug at all keep it in high rpms its better to over rev than to lug the motor during break in. for the first couple runs get it hot than let it cool so you can put your hand on the cylinders or pipe. the more times you heat the motor and cool it down the better you are. i rode mine all night the day i broke it in just ran it for like 15 mins than cool it for the same. works mint everytime.
if there is more than a 10 psi spread you should rebuild to. no it is not fine you have domes. and it is 90 110? im at like 150 stock head
Shit run some diesel through it should be fine with that compression lol
yes you can and i do. ill tell you right now it makes the airbox extremely difficult to put in even more than before. i snapped my box this year and the next time i took it out with the new one i got i cracked it in the back, minor
i dont see how you guys say "more places to leak" ive never had any leak problems with mine unless you mill them and they warp i dont see how they would leak
