  1. i would def go with a 20 in tire. You'll notice that the holeshots will wear a little faster than the razrs but they grab a little harder then them so i guess it is all on what you want them for. they both go for around the same price. I just got a new set of 20 in holeshot hds this year and no complaints so far. there also 11 in wide so pretty nice for the trails. ive only ran them like 5 times though then i blew a crank bearing but i ride Hard and they hold up. My buddy has had them on his rappy 700 for about 1 1/2 yrs and they still grab pretty hard.
  2. def rebuild it. i wont let mine get below 125 120 before ill do mine. def sounds like your rings are worn if it takes that many kicks to start it especially after you said it starts fine all day after the initial start up. whats happening is your rings are warming up and seating better so it will start up after its warmed up.
  3. I know you said you tried your switches but try grounding out your main switch i had that prob earlier this year. If you have a buddy with a banshee swap out your stators it could still be that even if it gives you a reading. and like he ^ said check the pickup gap. if you accidently dropped your mag it could be damaged without looking like it is.
  4. badass those are such sick suvs. what does it run in the 1/4?
  5. well i did my crank in about a month and a half ago 4 mill ported is going in soon. thats the rt i took
  6. your gonna smoke it no doubt in my mind. im running my shee fmf sst pipes, vf2s, lid off k&n pro flow adapter, .060 over, and clutch basket, 15/41 gearing. i can beat my buddies rappy 700 with a lrd exhaust all day and he smokes his buddys ltr450.
  7. had one pump failed eliminated pump and NEVER changed my jetting. ran fine. Oh and i also ran my blaster just as lean as a run my banshee. when i sold it 5 yrs on a bore 140psi comp. so yea they can be run pretty lean.
  8. yeah thats totally ineedmoney ive seen that quad so many times
  9. junk no balls and shitty on gas. who wants a balless truck that gets 8 miles a gallon. it doesnt need the lift kit cuz no matter how high you raise it it will still get barried in a foot of mud.
  10. if it started good before and you have to kick it till your foot hurts now your rings are prob junk. that doesnt necessarely mean you need a new top end it all depends on how good of condition your cylinders are in
  11. it could possibly be a shift fork but who knows if you changed oil and it still did it than i would take it apart
  12. spray the gaskets with a light coat of gasket sealer and your good. if not than you need intake boots.
  13. has anyone tried plastic renew? ive done it to my blaster plastic but i didnt really try doing a good job. my plastic is also white and needs to be done
  14. i think you have a chance if you can get the power to the ground. you should race on pavement so that traction isnt an issue. also ditch those 2 into 1 carbs totally restrciting your ride
  15. i run it in my shee and it loves it and so do i. Oh and the Napa autoparts store around here sells it so im sure they all do
  16. Yeah your prob right i dont know because i dont run with the hillclimbers circuit and neither does he. So im not going to try to debate that with you. Being a fellow trail rider i gave him my advice on tires. When im looking for a set of tires i search for a tire that is durable, reliable, and offers good traction. Im not trying to end up 10 miles down a trail with a flat 2 ply tire like the sets you recommended. Apparently he doesnt mind weight since hes running 22in right now. My tires are 20/11/10 6 ply, perfect for staying out of ruts and they do tread mud pretty good. I guess you missed the point but its cool. Tony
  17. x2 clymer all the way $25. they dont have the manual online anymore it was under google books.
  18. Whatever guy, i find that hard to believe anyways. He asked for OUR opinion not just YOUR opinion. If he wanted just your opinion he would have messaged you. I aint saying the ohtsus dont hook good but for the riding i do around here they would be either blown off the rim or there would be holes in them within the first couple rides. if there so good why dont the gncc racers recommend them? or the mx racers? as far as the "hooking up business" you run your quad for 4 secs up a hill. what does that prove. ive got a reliable tire that DOES hook amazing and im willing to pay the price for it. i didnt dog on your recomendations so i dont expect you to run your gums about mine. Im not here to lick anyones nuts like some of the people here
  19. i have it done in the back i like it
  20. bump for this sweet deal. someone should jump on this
  21. i do pretty much the same stuff you do. just got a set of the holeshot hd this season and they hook hard as hell. yeah they weigh a lil more than other tires but your not going to get this much traction with many other tires. they wear a lil fast at first but they get a lil better over time. and they are 6 ply no worrying about holes.
  22. i can get some if you want too
  23. the little eye sight on the top of the carb by the cap on the inside of the choke carb and on the outside of the right carb. the open circle on the slide should line up with the peep hole when throttle is held wide open. hope you get what im saying
  24. dude send your cylinders out for a bore. i dont know what the hell you mean by reliablility of the cylinders i think you hit the pipe this morning. you can bore up to .80 or .90. around 300 for wiseco pro lites and cyinder boring
