  1. Hmmmm... I re-read the post, jumps, trails and shit load of top speed?? Maybe a BIG power-valve Cheetah could do all of that? -Pasi S.
  2. How much power you need? ...in numbers? Are you looking for a dune/trail motor or a drag-motor? LOW-MID power or MID - TOP power?? How much money you can spend? -Pasi S.
  3. Just something to remember.. Shell V-Power is about 94 octane, not 100. We have Shell V-Power 99+ here in Finland and it´s 93.8 AKI. I use Neste 98 premium (93.8AKI) in my motors because I have been told that those extra shit they put in in that V-Power isn´t good for your 2 smoke motor. I use Motul 710 3% -Pasi S.
  4. what kind of help is needed? Welcome to BHQ! -Pasi S.
  5. How much more speed are you looking for?? More top end speed? You need more power to turn longer gearing. Port your cylinders and get some power out of them. Maybe a tad bigger/better carb´s will help some.... 28-33PWK´s What is wrong with the sound of the PC pipes? I have T5´s and they sound good but I think the PC pipes are better for trails. -Pasi S.
  6. This is the way how I burned my clutch in my RD/RZ350 street bike! If I were you , I would change that oil as soon as possible. -Pasi S.
  7. I bought my Banshee used in 2008, it´s 2006 model. The original owner (Snellman Motorsport) was a Yamaha dealer. The price for that Banshee was 11.500 €uros(brand new) and with those A-arms, Öhlins shocks + some other parts the final price was 15400€´s! That is 22206 US dollars. I didn´t pay that much for it because it was used... less than 40 hours. HAHAA! WHat I´m trying to tell you is, don´t come over here and buy a new one! -Pasi S.
  8. what srockets you are using with those ProWedges? You told that you start on 1.st gear? -Pasi S.
  9. I think you should tell a little more what you have in there. What carb´s, jets and adjustments. There can be more than one reason for high RPM idling. -Pasi S.
  10. I´m not the one who can help you but, I think THEY need to know how many paddles you are using. I also think THEY need to know more about your motor. -Pasi S.
  11. (only 99.9%sure) Yes you can if your crank has a 110mm rod´s.
  12. Take the site sponsor who is closest to you. In my opinion they all know what they are doing. I´m not sure but M&M ATV is not so far away from you and Andy is a super nice guy to deal with. -Pasi S.
  13. I´m not an expert here, but I think you can´t go to a bore -size as big as 68mm (or bigger)- without having a set of new sleeves ->big bore sleeves. After that I think that you don´t have stock port timigs. Also I think (not 100% sure) that having a stock stroke (54) long rod crank will not make your torque any bigger. 4mill crank is a "drop in" mod, but I´m 100% sure that you should port the cylinders for the longer stroke. It is not a must thing to do, but that way it will give you a much more torque and overall power. 7mill crank will make that power even bigger, but you need to mess with you cases before you can drop that crank in. My choice would be a 4mill crank and porting. (sorry my bad english) -Pasi S.
  14. I´m not an expert here, but... My friend has a 421 CUB, it has CPI´s (if), 34 PJ´s, VF3´s, +4 timing, K&N´s and coolhead with *** of compression using 105 race gas. He has 45 pilots, D177 needle 3.rd clip, and 162 mains and it was a tad on a rich side. This was at sea level and 12-15*C. So I think that you are close. If that motor was mine I would try a smaller pilots and few size under that 165 and see how it runs, but that´s just me. -Pasi S.
  15. What size is your domes? What is your compression? You can mod your stock plate to +4 or close to that. You can also port your stock reed cages by yourself. Try 14-42 gearing and see if you can still launch in 2.nd gear. Perfect jetting is a MUST! ...and like said above take that lid off. Check and adjust if needed your rear suspension and tire pressure. It can make your traction better. Practice your launching and before you go, make sure that your engine is warm enough and push your throttle fully open a couple of times. That helped my friend to gain 0.2 in 500ft on dirt. LOL! -Pasi S. ...and YES, if you have the money, send your cylinders to have a good port job.
  16. Are ITP Mud Lites any good for hill climbing? (22-11-9) Thanks! -Pasi S.
  17. What´s wrong with your T5´s?? -Pasi S.
  18. My friend has a 421 CUB. He started with Toomey TR6 and swapped to CPI inframes. The difference was from the "strong" pulling, good behaving beast to the violent lunatic which was immpossible to ride with +2 swinger. It did jumping wheelies here and there. It did 96RWHP on race-gas with CPI´s. -Pasi S.
  19. How about 10mill Serval?? I´m not sure can you buy one yet but anyway... I think it can hit over 90 with race gas and good pipes, and I think it´s not as violent as a 10mill CUB.
  20. Do you need more low/mid power, or mid/top power, or all up top?? I know that stock pipes sound horrible.. but what else do you need but a better sound?
  21. need 4 days to finish my porting....

      camatv

      what happend now?

  22. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banshee I think that the Banshee needs to be a 2 smoke screamer nothing else. However, if Yamaha would build a brand new RWD quad I would like to see them use a TDM 950 TWIN motor. -Pasi S.
  23. I bought my carb´s that way (used). I don´t know why they are .5´s and honestly I don´t even care. They work for me so damn well. -Pasi S.
  24. This is mine. It´s not a drag Banshee but I´ll be doing some 1/8 on asphalt and 500ft. on dirt. This is what I use with my 22" RazrII winter tires with 250 ice studs on each rear tire. With stock 14-41 gearing there was not enough power in my motor to turn these tires. -Pasi S.
