  1. In my opinion the 2" pipe will flow more because there is close to twise the area comparing to that 1" pipe and you said that the pressure was the same in both pipes. But thats just water not air. 1" pipe fully open = 5.064 sq.cm 2" pipe 1/2 open = 10.129 sq.cm (if I didn´t calculated it wrong) so same pressure = more flow. -Pasi S.
  2. I do appreciate you Loco and this site. I have learned so mutch over here just by reading it everyday. Lot´s of info allredy there and "PRO´s" who are willing to help when things get nasty. 10 months ago I was scared to change my jets and now I have done my motor running like a rocket. See what I mean. CAM!! I´m doing great!! -Pasi S.
  3. WHAT?? You have traded your plastics to a set of new front wheels?? ...or is there something I can´t see. -Pasi S.
  4. 90% of me was telling me not to do this but... Dajo, I just hope you understund my joke. I think that Cam is a great guy and allways ready to help everyone. Sorry my english - I´m from Finland -Pasi S.
  5. No Michael -LOL! At this time there was 163 wiews at this topic and 8 replys. I think that those 145 and some others went to adjust the chains after now they know how to do it. With my new sprockets and chain I have to figure out how to make it, but I realy don´t know is it right or wrong but it works. I do a lot of jumping and every now and then I am bottoming my rear suspension. No problems. -Pasi S.
  6. With 22"´s I would go with 13-42 gearing. Works great for me.
  7. You could have fouled plugs if you have ride it too rich. Put new plugs in and try it again with those smaller mains.
  8. TOP SELLER!! 100% Ultra nice set of wheels and tires with good(low) price! Helpfull and nice fellow and fast shipping. Can do overseas with no fear. -Pasi S.
  9. Going to 40 in back will give you a tad more top end speed. I use 13-42 gearing with 22" rear tires, 14-41 (stock) with 20" rear tires and 15-40 with my 18" asphalt tires. -Pasi S.
  10. Same problem here (like in the first pic) with T-5´s and 35 PWK´s. I use billet intakes from M&M and angled pods and I burned my outerwears also. Well - it works so I don´t give a damn...
  11. I know what you are talking about. I was in that same situation last summer. I was using stock pipes back then. Stock pipes doesn´t even sound like a 2 stroke and I wanted a real RING-DING-PING sound. Any aftermarket pipes will give you what you need - 10 times louder than stock. I have T-5´s and they sound good and are loud IMO even with the new packing in the silencers. Pod´s, better reeds, porting and compression makes it even better sounding. -Pasi S.
  12. I don´t know but how about 10mill stock cyl? to me they are also fast.
  13. Kaad deem! I can´t live without my VISA! -240 right now! LOL! Pasi S.
  14. Welcome to the HQ! I don´t want to explain it to you because of my bad english, but... Powerband is when the pipes and the cylinders starts to make things together seriously! -Pasi S.
  15. I think you can find some help and parts over there too. http://www.twostrokeshop.com/ I think they are from Australia also (I´m not 100% sure) -Pasi S.
  16. (Sorry my english - don´t know how to say this better) I think that they will build something close to Banshee but not use the name BANSHEE. In Japan they are building better 2-stroke engines today and maybe some day they will put one in a ATV frame. Same with the RD/RZ 350 31K YPVS Street bike. Because Yamaha is now a part of the Toyota I can easily believe that they will do something. Same with the classic Toyota AE86 Levin and Trueno (Corolla GT) now it´s Toyota FT86 and coming out 2011. And the Supra MkIV JZA-80 is first coming out as a Lexus LFA and maybe after that as a Supra MkV. At the same time there was few other powerfull sedans(Aristo, Chaser) with the same engine as a Supra (2JZ-GTE) and now they have Lexus ISF. The big 2-stroke in line twin cylinder EFI engine in a sport ATV is something that I can believe. Not as a Banshee but something like YFZ ??? and the plastics are reminding you from Banshee. Hope you understund what I´m trying to say. -Pasi S. Here is the AE86 and FT86 http://photos.webridestv.com/datastore/images/user/a2b34186f40d3586d58aaee6a99ad140/Rumored_New_Toyota_Trueno_(AE86)_104975_20080710.jpg
  17. Here you go. http://home.earthlink.net/~gellett/banshee.htm
  18. Here is my friends hybrid. It´s a 1100 GSX engine with turbo. It makes 247 hp´s and it is fast IMO. It toked more than a few days to make it.
  19. Hey Dartwall! Can you show some pic´s from your sb inframes? What is the price? Thank you. -Pasi S.
  20. I have 13/42 with my 22" rears with ice studs. No problems at all. Top end speed is more than enough. I have a brand new 47 rear sprocket and I want to try it also with those 22"´s just to see how it feels. Stock gearing with my 20" holeshot in summer time. -Pasi S.
  21. I have 23" fronts and 22" rears. Maxxis Razr 2. I use them in winter time. It´s not so bad I think. Gearing is 13/42 with 22" rears. -Pasi S.
  22. Some of you have been in a very cold conditions. -25 to -31*C WOW! Thast -23 was enough for me so never again - never! For me it was hard to find a good jetting for that temperature. -Pasi S.
  23. We use these kind of tires here in Finland for ice racing and winter riding. The studs are glued with Loctite 480. http://www.ajbike.fi/imagemagic.php?img=images/webkuvat/RENKAAT/MONKIJARENKAAT/MONKIJA%20NASTA/CROSSI74-8551.jpg http://www.ajbike.fi/images/webkuvat/RENKAAT/MONKIJARENKAAT/MONKIJA%20NASTA/CROSSI74-8550.jpg
  24. I think you should not use those Holeshots for that. Razr2 and Slashers are the ones we use here in Finland for ice/winter riding. The rubber is softer in those Holeshots so those "-don´t know the word-" can´t hold the studs. I hope you can understund.
