  1. Ok. When you get it all packed, do u just take it to the ups store? How much is it usually?
  2. Thanks. Who ships it? Ups or USPS?
  3. How much does the engine weigh? I'm looking to ship it to Jeff@ FAST to get engine overhauled. Thanks
  4. I have a right side seal leak, and I'm fouling plugs within 5mins of riding. Getting it fixed in December
  5. Make sure pressure plate arrows line up with arrow on clutch basket. I can move my adjuster bolt as well, but I can't move it when I pull the clutch lever in. Whats the gap between your pressure plat, and your clutch pack when you pull in the clutch lever? Should be a even 3/16 . The other thing to check would be your shift forks. Also, maybe the shift shaft spring has gone bad
  6. Ya, but then I would have to buy new pistons. I just bought new pistons, and has a fresh bore, not even 10 hrs on it yet.
  7. This winter I'm sending my engine off to one of hq site sponsors, and gonna do engine over haul. I'm doing this cuz it's 1997 banshee, and my right side crank seal is leaking. While it's apart its gonna get the crank welded, modded shift star, shift shaft spring mod, new bearings etc.. Since it's already apart what would you guys recommend doing? I've heard guys doing 4mill. But I don't think I can budget it this year. I'm just trying to get my engine reliable. Is a 4mill that's expensive to do? Or am I on the right track of just getting my engine overlooked, with new seals, bearings, and making it reliable for years to come? I thought about doing a play/dune port also. Any input? Thanks guys. Adam
  8. Ya I was gonna send my crank off to get welded too. What solvent can I use to clean off my crankshaft, and transmission?
  9. I've been watching your videos, good stuff man. Very helpful
  10. Good idea. Iam limited on money. Im gonna do it right. How would you up grade the transmission? Also, what cleaning solvent is good to use for cleaning inside the cases?
  11. Ya that's what I thought too. Is there anything you would do since the case is split, besides replacing my seals? Thanks. Adam
  12. I'm gonna be replacing my clutch side crank seal this winter due to bad seal. Anyways, I was reading in my clymers hand manuel the steps to disassembly the the bottom end. Now, Im just replacing my crank seal, I'm not over hauling, just a simple seal replacement, do I need to do all the steps in the book, like, remove transmission, clean the cases in soapy water, all that is good stuff, but I'm not needing to do that. So if anyone has replaced there crank seal in the past, what steps did you do? Thanks. Adam
  13. I have an outerware on it, and it didn't look dirty. What's the best way to clean the filter, air compressor?
