I find that hard to believe considering the 916's are a mid to top end pipe. Just because they scream once you hit the power band doesn't necessarily mean they work well with bottom end.

I have to run a 52-55 pilot, a 195 main, and a cel needle all the way on the bottom to get mine to run right. Its really trial and error. Remember idle to 1/4 is pilot and your idle screw, 1/4 to 3/4 is needle, and full throttle is your main. Its really really cold here (20-40) and the winter jetting is nothing like your summer jetting no matter what it is. Oh yea, my mods are just vf3,s cool head, and a 2-1 stage 5 from trinity.

I'm happy with my wickeds. Make sure the guy you buy them from checks the tie rods to make sure the tap is legit because mine wouldn't thread but other than that I love them. If your shocks are almost dead nows the time to replace or revalve them.

Got my 00 shee and my 08 z400. Z400 is mostly stock and shee is a work in progress. Used to have a little 90 dirtbike, then a 125, then a raptor 80 quad. Sold that to my neighbor and got my z400. Brother used to have a bruin 350 and sold that for money.

I got a set of dmc 916's that I got and decided to stick with my fatties for low end and because I need the extra money. The previous owner apparently tried to paint part of it black but as you can see I got almost all of it off with steel wool. These look very nice mounted and I'm sure all of you guys know how rare these are.. These pipes are very nice and will come with everything you need except 2 tiny bolts for the exhaust pipe to mount to the exhaust. I am asking $450 shipped anywhere in the u.s and anybody out of the country just pm me and we can figure something out. I will try to get the rest of the paint off the pipes but I was eager to get these posted because I'm needing some cash. $450
