  1. That steel wool works better than you think. I used it on my fatties and it doesn't scratch them any worse than what polish can take right off. Try it on a small piece of the rim and if it doesn't work all you spent is a few bucks.
  2. I have heard that for winter you need to richen up the jets a little when its really cold out. My banshee ran decent in warm weather and now when I start it up it wants to foul out and once its warmed up its hard to get going in first and bogs a lot. If I richen the jets wont it bog even more when I start it? I'm just kinda confused why it runs so bad right now. Sorry if this has been covered a lot just can't find what I'm looking for. Thanks in advance for any advice.
  3. What kind of Foam filter is that? Would you sell me the filter and airbox adaptor for 15?
  4. Could it be that you have it jetted too rich? I would think that would be the problem.
  5. Check to make sure your boost bottle didn't tear your intake boots. Thats what happened to me and I think it messed with my pistons a little. (burned em a little)
  6. Found some clamps. Thanks guys.
  7. Yea i gotcha, I got a clymers just need to start reading it a little more . I know what your trying to say but what I was wondering is how do you gain that one inch of space to push the box forward to get it off? The carbs and all the boots make it hard to even wiggle for me.
  8. Whats the easiest way to get to the top of the cases where the clutch cable is. I have tons of gunk in there and just wanted to clean it. The pain in the ass airbox is in the way obviously and I noticed there are the 2 screws that go from the inside to the outside. Is there a step by step process to get the airbox, all the boots, and the carbs off easier? Just wondering which is the easiest way since i've never done it. (first shee) I realized the title sounds dumb but whatever
  9. Thats fine let me get your paypal.
  10. Still want the -2 if its not been sold. What kind is it?
  11. Looking for stock handle bar clamps. On a real tight budget but hate my oversized low bend bar. Let me know.
  12. Say your going to spend 400 bucks and there is fullflight and wicked products arms on ebay. You want to get the strongest, best price, and best helpful customer service there is. Look for whichever brand has the best warranty. Also, wicked is selling there products with brake lines I think, but they might cost extra. I might go with wickeds in the next few weeks I'll let you know how I like them. ^ not saying wicked and fullflight are only ones available just trying to explain my opinion on which ones are best.
  13. Nobody? I know someone knows what pipes are better.
  14. Fuck you...seriously. I paid 2000g's for my near stock banshee with vf3's, fatty pipes, and a few other things. I'm getting arms and elkas for the front (800), Want to get a carb setup (3-400), and want to replace all my bearings in the rear end and maybe the hubs if i have to (50-100). It's really hard to put money into one specific item on your banshee because you always have one little part thats holding you back.
  15. I understand some people are on a budget but still want to widen up the front end a little bit. I can personally say if you ride a lot of trails and tend to hit things this will toss you around a little more, but if your in open fields or dunes these will work well. They are +1 on each side so I guess it makes it +2 spacers. I need to get pics of them but there clean and the 8 bolts/nuts are included. Don't know what there worth so just let me know if your interested and we can work something out.
  16. What exactly are the benefits of a roundhouse other than the fact you can adjust the chain length easily? Maybe if I knew I would want to spend 600 dollars on one. I don't think a -2 would break considering I weigh 125 (with gear) and don't jump that high or far. I just like making jumps on my bobcat and getting good at hitting them.
  17. In reality i'm asking which pipes are better for trails and low end riding. I've searched but says no results.
  18. It's all about practice really. You want to let the clutch out as fast as possible and spin the tires as little as possible. Starting slow and getting quicker is better than just dumping the clutch less and less until you stop spinning. Start in second gear also. I don't know many people that start in first.
  19. I'm in the process of buying dmc 916's for around 220-240 and was wondering how much value they hold if there in good shape? I also have fmf so-cal fatties with powercore 2's and might sell them if I like the 916's. Which pipe has more of a lowend? I like snappy responses which is what I hear about the 916's but I plan on riding trails and dont want a mid-top end pipe. What do you guys think?
  20. If your looking for about 15hp I'd get a boost bottle. Make sure its chrome though. J/k  . An aftermarket head would be good, timing, different carbs, and porting if you feel like taking your top end off. I would probably have all my stuff taken care of before I ported my engine but thats just my opinion. Also don't overlook suspension or your gonna eat shit when your flying one day.
  21. Well all i know is there is a place in MA who buys and sells powersports and parts for them. Probably not going to get these but would still like to know what you guys think. I plan on going with +2 +1 arms, elkas without rezzie, -2 swinger possibly, replacing all my bearings and shit in the rear end, timing plate, new top end eventually, and might get a 2-1 carb or some nice carbs. I just love the look of 2-1's and think it would be a hell of a lot easier to tune. Might be around the same price as carbs anyway.
  22. If this guy really is trying to deal rape me i'm gonna be pissed. Can anyone let me know if they can prove these are not lonestars? Also ellison what do u want for your lonestars? - No whammy no whammy no whammy
  23. Didn't buy them yet. Supposed to call the place tomorrow to confirm.
  24. There it is. Remember i'm using my tie rod ends.
  25. Lonestar +2 +1 a-arms with extended brake lines, tie rods, and ends for 330 shipped. Used of course, but in decent shape. I just bought new tie rods with ends so i'll use my new ends. Am I getting a good deal? Also will I ever be able to know for sure what kind of arms these other than lonestar because i'm not even sure if the seller knows.
