Heres the deal. I just got a new banshee about 3 weeks ago and noticed a few funny sounds and some backfiring. This being my first banshee I had no real place to turn other than a shop that sells powersports. I told them it backfired, I possibly heard engine knocking, and it doesn't show its full potential. 2 weeks and 400 dollars later I get my banshee back with new needle valves and cleaned carbs. No backfiring, but same power problem, anything over 1/4 throttle it wants to die. Its thought to have almost everything possible done to it and jetted perfectly to go along with it. It currently doesnt have an airbox lid and its runnin a k&n ( I have woods ). Am I on the right track gettin a foam filter, airbox lid, and it rejetted? Its synced to perfection and I KNOW it has more potential. Any advice would be helpful. Also does anybody know if i can find actual proof of it being an alba racing banshee without taking the engine apart? Thanks I look forward to hearing from you guys.
