  1. im not possitive what jets are in it since sadly I had to buy it used...it was a decent deal though. 2,000 and 200 bucks to deliver it 400 miles the next day. Its got fmf fatty pipes, boost bottle, stage 3 reeds, possibly bored and stroked by alba racing ( HOPEFULLY : P ). Tons of other stuff that i'm just a little uneducated about. As for elevation i live in northern virginia i think its pretty reasonable weather. 60-90 through summer
  2. I just got a new banshee that has TONS of extras and is possibly an alba racing banshee. It was sold to me with a single k&n with the conversion for one rather than 2 filters, and no lid for the air box. It runs at about 1/4 throttle before it will bog down and want to die. A shop cleaned the carbs and replaced the needle valves for a measly 400 dollars ..lol. The shop claims a new foam filter and box lid will help, but isnt that just killing some air flow and not really solving the real problem? Re jetting im sure will help but is there any other problems I should expect to see. Any advice would help a ton. Thanks
  3. I heard that it makes it easier to stall out which I would imagine making the plugs more likely to foul. But then again i only read it and haven't tried it so I dunno. Good luck.
  4. Heres the deal. I just got a new banshee about 3 weeks ago and noticed a few funny sounds and some backfiring. This being my first banshee I had no real place to turn other than a shop that sells powersports. I told them it backfired, I possibly heard engine knocking, and it doesn't show its full potential. 2 weeks and 400 dollars later I get my banshee back with new needle valves and cleaned carbs. No backfiring, but same power problem, anything over 1/4 throttle it wants to die. Its thought to have almost everything possible done to it and jetted perfectly to go along with it. It currently doesnt have an airbox lid and its runnin a k&n ( I have woods ). Am I on the right track gettin a foam filter, airbox lid, and it rejetted? Its synced to perfection and I KNOW it has more potential. Any advice would be helpful. Also does anybody know if i can find actual proof of it being an alba racing banshee without taking the engine apart? Thanks I look forward to hearing from you guys.
