The way i've looked at it is just because most of the kids are relatively spoiled on the show doesn't mean thats how its going to be and i shouldn't accept and appreciate the opportunity i've been given. Its only like 7 minutes of actual time anyway, so if they make it look like every other episode i'd be kinda disappointed but I have to say my house isn't like the other ones, by a LONG shot. Thats what some people might be confused about. I drive an 89 cadillac, and my dad drives a truck. He sold his vette 2 months ago. I understand the stereotype that the shows represents snotty kids, but the kids ARE told for the most part what to talk about which is the nice things they have. If I talked about the tools in my toolbox it wouldn't really be as interesting as talking about my caddy, my quads, and my basement. All in all I think if I can relax and have a good time its gonna be fun by the time it airs. We'll see how it plays out with the banner and everything. I talked to the producer and she said she needs a pic of the banner and site sponsors on the banner so she can run it through her boss but it shouldn't be a problem to get a closeup and maybe even a shoutout.

Thanks for all the comments guys. Yea I know I'm lucky as hell. And in reality the bars and booths store is pretty small so them getting in contact with each other was pretty lucky. I'm buying locos banner so I can rep all the site sponsors. The producer seems really cool and claims they'll let me do mostly what I want, so I'll make sure theirs a closeup of the banner at least once. As for my shee its been running pretty good but I definitely gotta clean it up a bit. I'll be sure to keep in touch and get a few pics of the banner and what not before they come over on saturday.

You have to swap the cable since its only for 1 carb rather than two. Run your fuel lines and what not, and whether your running a box or pods then you might have to remove the box. I think you can find a happy spot in the middle without having to swap carbs all the time.

The best deal I found were wicked's (few colors available) for around 400 bucks. I found my elka dual rates for 420 shipped valved for my weight, riding style, etc. Plus a shirt, stickers, manual, and tools so it was pretty legit. I don't think your gonna find a new shock for under 350 shipped so paying 70 more for elkas over works seemed to be worth it for me. I love my wicked a-arms but I had to get my tie rods re-tapped because there was so many shavings still in it. Other than that though my shocks and a-arms have been great.

Haven't been on in a few weeks (the new style frustrates me but I think I might be able to get used to it). My parents got a call a few weeks ago from the people who helped finish our basement in a 50's theme and told me that the producer from mtv teen cribs was looking for houses that would stand out or be good to do an episode for. Turns out they called me and talked me into doing an episode at my house, next weekend. I'm excited but at the same time I'm fucking nervous to be on a camera. I wanna see what I can do to rep the hq when I show them my shed and banshee. I hope they ask me how I learned to work on banshees . I'll let you guys know when its gonna air and what not. I think its gonna be tight to be the first kid to be riding 2 strokes and quads for the episode though.

My opinion is if you get a single carb you HAVE to get some low mid pipes. I got +4 timing, vf3's(not preferable for this style of riding), 22cc domes, pt mids, and a agg trail port with stock gearing and I love how my shee rides. If your not doing mostly if not all trails then stick with stock carbs or some 28's.

Yea but he's gearing it for fast acceleration and a lower top speed, but making mods that increase the top end power (top speed). And I thought all riding was fun? But seriously I ride trails and without a set of low-mid pipes, +4 timing, and maybe even a port job your not going to like a banshee for that. I know mx is a little different but you wanna be in the midrange when your power is the best and your pulling through corners. Not trying to talk you out of it, but if your actually going to be racing mx then you might wanna try some different mods. And what about suspension? .

I dont see how cooling can effect hp, especially by 7-8 hp. The words Reverse cooling don't even make any sense to me.

I wouldn't really say there overrated...but yea i agree with them being expensive. They are a big business so might not have as much time with helping you with questions. I can't prove it but i've heard it here and there. People like kevin and hjr will take there time to personally tell you what there doing to your bike and help you along your build. I know theres more than them as well, thats just an example.

I need a working z400 08 radiator. Stock or aftermarket. Willing to pay generously as these are pretty hard to find.

I had them when I first bought my banshee. I felt that when I hit something small like a rock or rut while trail riding it would tend to throw the handle bars more. It's deffinately a nice cheap upgrade, but its not anything close to new a-arms. I just realized I still have mine and would give them away for next to nothing. 25 plus shipping or something around there If your interested.

Buddy of mine asked me to take a look at his kx125 and turns out what I thought was a stuck piston is a stuck bottom end. All the parts are in decent shape. The top end could use a hone possibly a bore. The chain and sprockets are rusted, the subframe is gone, and like previously stated the bottom end is pretty bad off. Let me know what you need. I really just want to get this bike out of my garage. I'm located in northern Va. Thanks

I have a used set of vf3 reeds that are currently on my bike. My setup is all for down low power and these reeds just weren't really meant for low end. I would like to trade for a set of boyesen rad valve reeds or something similar thats better for low end. I want them to be in good condition like my vf3's. You will also have to add cash but we can determine that after you shoot me a pm. I wont turn down any reasonable offers. Thanks

I lost a few of my exhaust mounting bolts and would like to buy a set. I need the ones for the pipes and silencers. If I remember correctly 6 say 8 on them. The other ones are for the silencers. I am unsure of what they cost so message me a price.
