  1. If you want it for looks check these out first. http://www.motovationracing.com/
  2. Ask wicked to re tap your tie rods before you by them. I got mine and they were full of powdercoat and shavings. I had to go out and have them cleaned out before they'd work. Just a thought though.
  3. You made an account on bansheehq and this is your 3rd post? Not trying to call you out but seems like it might be a scam.
  4. It was these. Yea I'd like to get the info straight as well I don't want to trash talk another company. I figured out the problem but the fact the guy claimed they were perfectly fine and ready to bolt up made me mad. I would of been extremely pissed if my new carb was running good but figures I need a new needle for it.
  5. I took them to a shop and they put some wd40 on it and cleaned it out and they went right in. Problem solved now I just need to work on my jetting. If anyone buys from wicked ask him to run them through the taper again after they powdercoat them.
  6. I already own the 2into1 just need to get a different needle and i'll be set.
  7. I could've sworn you needed to but i must be mistaken. Hopefully you don't have to.
  8. Oh I forgot to say at the beginning of this thread, I'm talking about my banshee, not john deere tractors. Sorry for the confusion.
  9. Compared to wicked they are the same except you have to ream your spindles. With my wickeds I just turned all the ball joints out 2 turns and they seem to be even and ready to ride. Only problem with mine was the tie rods wont thread the tie rod ends on right. You'll be happy with the full flights. Are they the ball joint kind or heim joint kind?
  10. You guys can say that all you want. I understand duals are better than a single. In reality its just common sense. You can even tune them to each cylinder. I got the 2-1 for easier cleaning and tuning. I like the look as well. Bottom line is I bought it because it's what I want for my bike, not what you want for my bike.
  11. What kind of places can tap the left side for me? I think that would be my best bet.
  12. Yea the guys making this situation suck. Aren't left side taps hard to find though? And I have no idea how to tap it but my vocational school might. They do welding and construction I might be able to find the tool there.
  13. I have 2 weeks for christmas break and I figured it would be a good time to do some mods. I called up wicked and decided i'd go with there arms. I get them and everything bolts right up...except for the tie rods. The right sides are great but the left sides have shit from the powdercoat and just metal shavings in it. Bottom line they wont thread to my tie rod ends. Called up the guy from wicked and he really didn't give a shit. Says he can't do anything except re tap them once I pay for shipping both ways. He said "why would I send you a new set and have a broke set here"?. He claims there not defective but they obviously dont work. Kinda pisses me off I have 2 weeks to ride and fuck around and I'm sitting diddling my thumbs....Any advice on what I should do would be appreciated.
  14. Little bit behind but thats OK. I got the 2into1 just need to make sure jettings pretty close ( a little on the rich side would work ) before I install tomorrow.
  15. If you guys don't mind me asking what is your jetting? I have fatty pipes, vf3's, and a pro design cool head with 21-22 cc domes ( not possitive but im on pump gas ). I want to hook this baby up and go once I get it tomorrow and the guy from the store claims he will jet it for me so I wanna double check before I just pop it on.
  16. I'm getting +2 +1's tomorrow from wicked and whoever I talked to was very nice and explained everything in detail. With Wicked's there is no reaming required which is a big plus and brake lines can be added for 75 bucks. I'll take pics with them installed but I see no reason for me not to be happy with my purchase.
  17. We need pics of both shees. Also a lot more people would be interested in single parts and you might be able to get rid of it faster that way. Even if you had parts laying around you'd make your asking price for the shees quick. Just my opinion. Good luck selling.
  18. How much for the filter and airbox adaptor?
  19. Yea the only reason I asked was because its been running fine with high test from my gas station. There probably 21 or 22 I cant imagine them being any lower than 20. So timing has nothing to do with what gas I run?
  20. Pics and periods please
  21. My elevation is about 300 above sea level or so. I could take it to the shop and do a compression test but I plan on putting a new topend on it either way. Its my first banshee and I bought it used so odds are it needs a new one soon anyway.
  22. I do plan on gearing the front sprocket down one for stock. I might go with a 13 in the front because 14 is stock right? I need to check my dome size after I drain my coolant and stuff today. The coolant in the radiator is the same as the coolant in the reservoir right? And its Ok to change it as long as you drain it all first?
  23. I have fmf fatties, vf3 reeds, a pro design cool head (unaware of dome size atm), about to have +4 timing, and also about to install a 2into1 carb kit. The guy I'm buying the carb from says I need to run 100 octane with +4 timing. Is this true? Also what dome size do you guys think I should run for best performance in trails? I'm trying to have everything together so when I get it I can install it and ride but I don't think that will be the case.
  24. Funny you should say that. I have a z400. Thats my play/wheelie bike. It is possible to gain low end without giving up topend. It's just not possible for you to get hot chicks!
  25. I'm running stock carbs right now and i'm trying to get more low end out of my shee. I have fmf fatties, about to get +4 timing, vf3's, and a pro design cool head. For riding tight trails what kind of carbs would be my best bet and where can I find them. I want a ton of low end but still decent mid and top end power. I really want a 2-1 carb for easy tuning and the look but everyone says there not worth it. Talk me out of getting a 2-1!
