  1. I love my K&N pods w/ outerwears. My bike just runs so much better with them and the Toomeys...what an amazing duo.
  2. I'm glad so many people are with me on the cartoon girl thing. I didn't know how anyone would take it.
  3. I'm getting PWKs eventually. Heard nothing but good things.
  4. Try CCleaner to clear a lot of unused junk from your computer. It's free, and you can make donations if you want. http://www.ccleaner.com/ [CCleaner] http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/ [spybot S&D] I can probably get you a cracked version of NOD32 too, depending on your operating system you might not have a use for it.
  5. Hahahaa...so true. I bet he'll even offer to fix it for you....for about $34,536,578 and some change.
  6. I would never buy the first proposed shirt. But that's just MHO...I can't deal with that anime shit. That one a few posts up though really toned the anime down, and looks pretty good. I know a website where you can upload any image and get a T-shirt made and shipped to your house for $3.18 a piece after typing in some rebates.
  7. What does your current jetting look like? A) Main Jet? Pilot Jet? C) Needle Clip Position? D) What is your elevation in Ohio? Sometimes bikes come jetted wrong from the factory. I bet those holes didn't help either... Get some mods man!!!
  8. Sounds to me like your carbs are out of synch for starters. Rip off whatever you have for an intake/airbox, so you can see the slides. Now push and release the throttle at a rate that you can see how the slides pick up and move. A) Do they move at the same time? Are they resting at the same height, or all the way shut when you aren't on any throttle? C) Do you even have TORS? D) Did you rip apart the carbs and check them? (Something as small as a washer in the carb missing can shut down 1/2 your motor above idle, for example.) -> Check for air leaks.
  9. Thank you sir. I figured that's how it was...but I couldn't get it into words.
  10. What EXACTLY does a coolhead and domes do? What about advancing the timing? I have a good idea about how everything works, but I want to know more the theory behind it all. I'm not asking how to install it, or what to expect for gains--I want to know in technical terms how it works as a system to increase performance. I know the basics...the head holds 70% more liquid, uses a "squish" zone or something, compression goes up, advancing the timing means the plug fires earlier or something like that?
  11. I have my stock one off my 05. I cased a rock and destroyed one, bought two 450 rims w/ tires. Still have the good stocker left.
  12. I love the black (that's what I'm going for.) Bigger pictures please!!!
  13. Got brand new 450 rims w/ brand new stock tires for $50 here locally. Thanks anyways.
  14. What's everyone up to for riding? The prarie is a damn swamp.
  15. Air filter, exhaust, jetting, coolhead, domes matched to your elevation, timing +4, TORS removal.
  16. It sounds like you are talking about one of the fuel lines...? Or is it the black tube that balances the carbs? (It goes between them)
  17. Not my style personally, but DAMN it looks good!
  18. Local shop was able to hook me up when I lost one. (Or try dealer if you have to.) There isn't much markup on a $4 screw, so don't worry about it.
  19. That's what we are all here for.
  20. The easiest way to find one would probably to google it near your area. As far as finding a good reputation one, you'll have to wait til someone from that area sees this.
  21. What is your elevation? And you are doing a K&N replacement filter, and a powerlid also?
  22. FOR LOOKS: Spray whatever you can with WD40 (motor, rims, etc.) it will keep sand from sticking to it. I use FW1 wash/wax...it sprays out of a can like spray paint and it wipes off. It works good, but I'm probably going to look into something a bit better though for when I really want it to shine...I heard Mothers products are #1. (But expensive.) MAINTENANCE: Always keep fluids up (and fresh.) High RPMs = Check all bolts, screws, etc. for tightness Heat = Motor Killer NEVER overheat your Banshee...you will regret it. Inspect plugs (!!!!) Lube all cables (Specifically throttle, especially w/o TORS) Chain lubed & tightness WASH IT. Always have sand and mud all over your bike will give you major problems. I was just being general, and overall...your bike looks insane already (LESS THOSE SUCKY PLASTICS!!!! ), you must know this stuff and more!!!!
  23. I have T5s and love them, no opinion on the T6s havent seen em in person.
  24. Cheapest? I would not port if that's your decision factor. Wait til you have the money, and have Herr Jugs or someone comparable do it. This is your Banshee dude, not some piece of shit 400EX!!
