I ripped apart the other carb and noticed that I was missing the washer. I was able to get a new one, and a few spares for free. Thanks all.

The part the Jet screws into won't stop sliding up and down. Is the main jet the only piece that keeps it from going up and down?

Looks like a Sawzall should do it. And no, it wasn't asking how to install them. I can see how you thought that, but I should have explained it more.

...Is anyone around? It wasn't completely firing on one either, it was in and out with gas flow, so this is my problem.

I went to test run my 'Shee down the street, then it started firing only one cylinder. I popped the carb off and saw that this circled part, (the jet connects to the bottom part of it), is moving up and down. Isn't there supposed to be a washer or something on the bottom keeping it from doing this?

Mine have been on my bike a while now, clamped onto the carbs w/o any box. But then i was browsing around on here, and saw "Pods - airbox lid removed" in a kids mods. I thought..."Obviously the airbox lid is removed if there is no airbox. Are people running these any differently? How?" I wasn't asking how to install them.

How are you guys running these? (Airbox w/ lid, airbox no lid, no airbox.)

RubberBand Powerbands. WTF kind of motor does he have? Ford I4 Dual OverHead Cams?

Bolt ons, 440 kit, cam Wait...keep up with a Banshee....? Add a 100000 shot of NOS, and a Civic hair dryer turbo. Then he MIGHT be able to.

FMF. Get a coolhead (Noss or Pro Design) and some domes to match your elevation. (And Timing +4) Is your TORS removed? Do that before anything. Then do a dune port. Get a billet water impeller too...I wish I had sooner...now I'm paying for repairs I wouldn't need if I had it already!

Don't go off my sig. That's what it will be when I finish...I'm mid installation right now. The head is not on, just the Toomeys, K&N, ported cages w/ petals and TORS Removal so far. When I do put the head on, the timing will be advanced (+4 roughly) to keep me from detonating. Edit-- I'm going to aim to install the pilots, and check out the impeller. The plastic one may be trashed... (going to billet)

I haven't done anything to raise the compression, so I'm going to say negative on the detonating. My "riding" wasn't long at all...a few pulls up and down the street. Maybe it is overheating.

Dumping the clutch in 2nd, while sitting, (off a roll) I found it easy to ride sitting wheelies. Standing and dumping it in 2nd (off a roll), it stood up fast, but didn't ride it long. 3rd gear, off of a decent roll, dumping the clutch, it rode the best standing wheelies. That was when I was stock though. I haven't had any seat time on my newly modded bike.

Currently running: Mains: 310 Pilot: 25 Needle Clip: Stock Position Toomey T5s K&N Pods w/ Outerwears (Airbox Delete) TORS Removed Bog: @ Idle to 3/8 throttle Once it hits powerband, it takes off. I think the 27.5 pilots will fix the initial problem. But after that, I made a few passes up and down my road, and it started bogging more and more within the powerband range. (After the powerband seemed fine, it was just the low end. But then the powerband started having a slight bog.) I don't think I have any air leaks, but I will tighten things up, and look.

Haha. Slow wheelies? Buy a 4 poke. 6th gear wheelies @ 65mph+ ? Banshee time.

Lift kit for a Banshee? The only lift kit I put on is Toomeys, Pods, Coolhead, Domes, Reeds, etc... Now I can lift my front tires off the ground really well! That's the only lifting Banshees should do.

Not my style.

Take off your TORS sir!!!!! Isn't jetting for lower elevations typically fatter? (Example: Sea Level vs. 2000')
