  1. Going to the dunes this weekend and stripped the jam nut on my idle screw, anyone have one they would sell me? Or other ideas to fix the problem.
  2. What NYUK said! As soon as I get a chance I will getting rid of the boost bottles, just another place to develop leaks! Right now my shee is running like crap, but will still smoke the 4strokes
  3. I am going to get more jets today, I have 2x200, 2x260, 2x270, 2x280's going to get 2x330, 2x320, 2x310, 2x300, my needle is after market don't which one, it is longer than stock and thinner. my pilot is a 25, I thought maybe a 27.5? right after i got it running the right side would on fire intermitently, I took the shims out from under the needles and then right side started firing. (had one shim under each clip.)
  4. I did not change the jets during the rebuilding of engine, It wont idle at all but runs like a bat out of hell at WOT. After a brief ride (5mins) whit the bike off sitting in the garage it leaks (fuel and oil) out of the silencers quit a bit, the right sidwe more than the left side. Do I need to go to the 2nd clip on the needle? (340 mains)
  5. Thanks for the concern gumby, I had to learn how to set the timing and points on the first car I owned 1969 Chevelle SS. I don't know if I am a noob or not, but I do appreciate the help and all the good natured ribbing I get from all you old timers lol! thanks
  6. First of all I would like to thank everyone who replied, It was the plastic after all lol But it is running, and to all of you that kept me checking the wiring a big thanks!!!!!!! I was ready to push it off a cliff or buy a 4stroke lol. Ok here is what the problem was, the four wires coming from the stator one red, one green, one red white, and one green white. One would think that you would connect the wires red to red and green to green and so on! I was fixing to wire the detonator in the C4 to the firing box and I thought since it was so close to starting why not just switch the R/W wires and the G/W wires and guess what the she lives !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I just need to tune her and break in the new rings, wait how many kicks does it take to break in a new build because I have been kicking on it for over a month now! What do you guys think! This whole issue just blew me away, I have been riding, building, and tearing up two strokes for over 30 years and this was a first. Again I thank all the members that have put in thier two cents worth, you guys ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. tried fresh fuel, but bought it at the same place. Will try differant supplier. tkx
  8. What J-Madd said I did think about changing out the dickfer though, what do you think?
  9. yep, spark, fuel, air. It does not back fire as much but still wont run, it is tring to fire. I can kick on it and it will fill my garage with smoke!( was white at first now it is a light gray, All wires have been checked, inspected by hand one by one. I do have a CDI coming in tomarrow. Allelectrics are new and check out according to specs post on here. I have everything coming in to do a leak down test this weekend. I hope it is narrowed down to, (a.) CDI box (b.) air leak I missed (c.) Twisted Crank (d.) bad fly wheel (mine looks to be in perfect shape, no cracks, chips etc......)
  10. I bought a brand new CDI last week, it came in DOA. I have another one coming this week. Read my post banshee build gone bad.
  11. yep pulled it around the block a couple of times, no luck
