  1. Damn I want to get mine on now!!!
  2. How does the head and domes feel? I'll be doing the same thing here soon. Did you advance your timing at all?
  3. 05.Banshee.SE

    Fail

That's why I don't ride mine up (depending on the angles of the ramps.)
  4. Never ran it, never appealed to me. I stuck with K&N pods, mostly a sand rider. And I love the power the pods make.
  5. I got mine off of Toyboxx. He posted above, he's a great guy.
  6. Best way to find out is to plug chop her.
  7. What do you guys have?
  8. Can you get some video please?
  9. Get rid of the boost bottle... and get a head and domes. If you have TORS, ditch it.
  10. YZ250s are fun. KTMs are nice (but expensive.) If not one of those, then the CR series, don't think I'd go any less than a 250.
  11. Please list ALL your mods... Head and domes? Air filter? What type of riding do you do?
  12. At sea level 20ccs are odd. I've seen some 20s that need race fuel, and some that don't. It changes from bike to bike....we'll see what your numbers are though!
  13. If you plan on keeping the Banshee, take the TORS off...your life will be a hell of a lot easier in the future w/o it. What type of riding do you do? (This will help choose what air filter to get, or even if you should delete the stock airbox all together.) (And what terrain? Sand, mud, water, etc.) Banshees normally run like shit cold, so let your bike warm up before you romp on it. (You can cause damage if you don't.) 4 oz. to 1 gallon of gas is what I run...32:1. Check your compression with a compression gauge...that'll give you an idea of the overall health of your motor.
  14. How did it go? I recently installed some Toomeys and I custom made all my exhaust hardware, for cheap. And it held up 1000X better...my stock hardware got tore up in about 3 rides. (I had a race 3 hours after the hardware finally quit, so I was in a bind and couldn't order the Toomey hardware kit.) For <$13.00, my bike was up and running within 15 minutes, and has not had any problems since. I'll tell you the materials I used, and how I did it if you still need help.
  15. Sounds to me like you're running rich. When I run a fat jet (350 main), I get the same thing. @ 310-330 main it was non-existant. Reeds would cause a horrible bottom end-1/4 throttle through all gears, and it would run smooth around WOT (where the integrity of your reeds aren't as important,) so it's not that.
  16. Thanks man, I'll take a look for it. I doubt mine are as bad as an 88s, but either way, I want my stock (and then some) shine back.
  17. What about restoring plastics? When brances drag along them, they cause dull "scratches." What's the best way to get my shine back? How much about would recoating a clear coat cost (if even possible?)
  18. +10000000000000000. A clean bike sure as hell runs better, and it's a million times easier to wrench on. I rip it apart from time to time and clean ALL of it, and just do maintenance cleaning between those.
  19. Lmao I bet
  20. I think Maxima sells some, comes in a small blue jar.
  21. I run Razr 2s and I have no problem in the sandy beaches of Florida. I've never buried them unless I meant to (messing around and spraying massive amounts of sand on a TRX450R.) I ride mostly beach sand, since it's FL, and I have had no problems. I have great traction, and actually love the fact that I can roost it whenever I want. If you are serious about sand, this tire isn't for you though. This is a great sandy trail, hard pack, loose terrain, rocks, combo tire. NOT DUNE TYPE RIDING. (It can dune, but not as well as a paddle can) It does great in the general woods area. And the 6 ply is TOUGH!!! The sidewall is amazing.
  22. I have a stock tail light from my '05 I'm thinking of eliminating if you are interested.
  23. I love the K&N Pods, but they are motor killers without some type of cover over them (outerwears, panythose, whatever). They flow more air, I rip harder. EDIT- Got mine from RockyMountainATV, $<80 shipped w/ outerwears I think.
  24. I can almost guarantee a slide is installed incorrectly, and/or the air screw is off. (Any loose throttle cables, carb tops, etc, can cause a correctly installed slide to walk.) You can be running the right jetting all you want, but the air screw is going to make it run crisp, or choppy and poppy. It doesn't have to be a constant problem to be it, it can fade in and out.
  25. I'd still say throw the pods on her, and just don't do any mudding. For $<100, the pods are worth it.
