  1. Did you adjust your air screw to accomadate the new jetting? [it can force the bike into a lean/rich condition] Are the slides in the carbs correctly (and synched)? [There's a lot of symptoms it could have for this one]
  2. Play with your clutch. Put the bike in first, and just practice taking off in first gear a couple times. You'll soon notice where the clutch is when the bike starts engaging. Learn to feel for it, and you'll be golden.
  3. Unplug the caps. Remove the "brain" (1" x 1" x 1" ish) box under the gas tank. Disconnect the wires running to the p-brake and throttle.
  4. Get a compression gauge, and check the compression. -Take off the TORS (~$60) -Put K&N Pods on, deleting the stock airbox (~$80) (Get Outerwears) -Toomey T5s (Buy used.... ~$275-$350) -Jet it (~$20 if you jet it yourself and get close) -Coolhead & Domes (match domes to pump gas size) (~$220-265) -Timing +4 (~$25-$100) -28mm (or bigger) flat sides (~???) -Herr Jugs Racing Port Work (~$250-$400) -VForce 3 Reeds and Cages (~$300-$350?) It might be a bit too crazy for tight trails lol...
  5. I had the same thing happen. My buddy shut off the fuel when we were transporting it, and I didn't know that, cause I never do (it's never enclosed, and I don't haul it to far). It took me a while to get it running, lol.
  6. Sounds like a bad wreck. Where they stock rims?
  7. 32:1 Castor 927 or YamaLube 93 Pump
  8. What kind of riding do you do? Sand, hills, mud, any water? I'll throw some mod ideas your way.
  9. I will get them to you ASAP. It might be tomorrow though.
  10. GearSaver for the case, Yamalube or (my new favorite) Castor 927. I run 32:1 mix (4 oz per gallon). NGKBR8ES plugs. Look in the manual for the case amount, I forget. I filled it with 2 jugs, but idk what size they were now.
  11. It did look sick! I had the handle bars and seat put on...then the toomeys and stuff..and I cleaned it like a mofo... My bike was all modded out, no plastics, all black, only chrome was rims and silencers...everything else black...
  12. Good idea. We'll definately get that thing built sweet for ya if its legit.
  13. I'll take some pics of 'em and you (they) can offer or something. I'll PM you when I get pics. (Could be tomorrow)
  14. I have an RT Combo, Spyder Compact, and multiple Tipman 98s. Idk if its really called an RT combo, that's what the guy who got it from said it was. It only runs on compressed air and NOS, it's all chrome-ish. Edit- I have pods and belts, and tanks and shit too.
  15. As long as your stock one is fine...you can wait. I'd do it ASAP though. I'd do billet.
  16. No one will help you if you have a stolen Banshee.
  17. Was the gasket covering anything?
  18. If it's so much faster....why doesn't he sell the Banshee instead of the 400EX? Because the Banshee IS faster. AND more badass.
  19. Either it boiled over REALLY bad, or you have a leak. Did you ride it with the coolant empty? I hope you didn't fry any rings or anything.
  20. Alright dude, just let me know.
  21. I would reccommend a jetting size for you, but I can't to be honest. I've only ever ridden at sea level, but the other guys on here can get you near perfect (they are pretty good.) Did it overheat, or comletely boil over? Do you know how to check your jetting sizes? -Check the radiator cap to make sure it's functional. -Check your stock water impeller(it's plastic, could've melted.) -Check for any leaks, loose hoses, etc. -Take your radiator off (if dirty), and spray it from the back with compressed air. -Flush all the coolant, and replace it with Engine Ice. -Check the motor for internal damage. I boiled my bike over pretty bad once from working it to hard on a humid night at the drag strip, and it took me a while to shake the problem.
  22. Just be careful and watch out for that powerband man! It will get you if you aren't careful! If you aren't that experienced...I'd try doing it in first for a little, until you get comfortable with how you move your weight around, how the bike responds to throttle, etc. After that, in 2nd gear you'll be golden. If you can squeeze enough power out of her, 3rd gear can be fun.
  23. What is your jetting anyways?
  24. I can let you know Saturday. I'm just going to randomly guess...they had the #8 on them, and had no washers. I want to say the nuts were a part of the frame.
  25. Don't open a hot radiator. It will spray you in the face. Did you change your jetting recently? Any temperature changes? Do you run a coolant rezzy or no? (It's an overflow bottle, under the seat towards the back of the bike.) Where was it coming from? Mods?
