  1. Never used it, haven't heard of them being used a lot... I'd rather keep my $40 and put it towards something else, like an adjustable timing plate, or port work.
  2. I picked up stock ported cages w/ new reeds. Saved me about $250.
  3. I personally have mine still. I don't know if I'm going to take it off or not... I may just throw it where the air box was (once I take it out.) Idk yet.
  4. You don't have to get port work...but if you have the money, f*ck, do it. What's your elevation? Do you want to run race fuel, or pump 93? What manufacturer is the head? Noss, PD, Chariot?
  5. And you don't need the overflow container as stated above.
  6. Coolant = Engine Ice Billet Impeller > Stock Plastic One Plastic Impeller = Breaks like a bitch
  7. HILLCLiMBR...THAT IS SOME SICK SHIT!!!!!!!! I did mine at work...nothing fancy, I was just bored lol.
  8. Your compression will be about 170. (Assuming it's not in need of a rebuild or anything.) 21 or 20 cc domes will keep you under 160. I'd get smaller domes and keep it away from race fuel...but it's up to you.
  9. Good guy to deal with. Purchased some ported reed cages w/ petals. Great item, great shipping. Would do business again no problem.
  10. Do you have an adjustable timing plate?
  11. What's your elevation? That will help choose what domes are right for you.
  12. T5s with port work is a really good decision. I don't know how it would respond in the trails though...everything in FL is dunes, straight, or flat, so I can get away with a lot. Other than that, it's personal preference.
  13. Where the hell do you live??
  14. My PD is polished, and wish it was black!!!!!! 90% of my bike is black...soon to be 95 or more.

Can't go wrong with Toomey or CPIs. Any port work done?
  16. I think he was high or something. I had to post it when he said it, because I thought wtf? I have never heard of that. I'm just going to disregard it because I can't find a logical explanation, and it's never happened to me.
  17. I'm heading up to a spot called "Alabama" in Lehigh tomorrow to ride with some guys I know from naplesracing.com There may be a few banshees (2?), raptor, 4x4s, dirtbikes, etc. going, not to sure yet. http://www.mapquest.com/maps?city=Lehigh+A...+82+%26+Alabama
  18. So I let my roomate ride my 'Shee for a few minutes last night, he never really rode it before. But he said he lost traction and went into a 360 (I have bald ass stock tires right now), and he said he punched it and let it spin, and he said he saw sparks coming out...? (It was night) I didn't see it, so I have no idea. Maybe the chain hit something? It was running a little rough last night...but I'm hoping it was the incredibely high humidity because of the storms that came through. Edit- Sorry, I didn't see I was in the wrong forum. If there is a mod around please move it to the repair/mod section.
  19. I'd definately be locating the parts, shop, whatever to do it.
  20. +1 on the air filter. My stock one looked alright... but I went and picked up a UNI [until I install the pods] anyways, cleaned it up a lot.
  21. Oh yeah--depending on when we do it, lol.
  22. I would be down for Croom. I'll stop by and pick up you and your 'Shee too fastrthnu! I have a big ass trailer and a Chevy.
  23. +1. You are better off boosting the 4.3. My friend boosted his 4.3L Blazer and he smokes a lot of people. Next is an LSX Turbo swap, 1200 RWHP. The 4.3 block loves boost, it's solid as shit.
  24. Still looking... I'd really like T5s or DMC 916s.
