  1. I have a Trax or Trac swingarm I picked up and I'm trying to find a website that sells there stuff any ideas?
  2. Alright sounds good thank for the reply...just wanted to be sure..
  3. I ordered the Trinity 2 into 1 carb kit. The sales rep I talked to said for what I have done 33mm carb would be fine. Well he sent me a 35mm carb he said that he " hooked me up " incase i start tuning on it I'll already have 35's. My Shee is recently rebuilt stock stroke bored .020" over. Toomey T-5 pipes K&N filter with airbox no snorkel the lid has a k&n filter built in. Thats about it...do you guys think a single 35mm carb will be alright?
  4. Yes vitos tells wiseco what they want and they make them custom...thanks for the feedback though
  5. So you saying I do not need to rejet for the "break in period"? BTW these pistons are wiseco pistons. They have 2 of the same pistons on there page one made by wiseco USA or what i believe to be jap scrap is non usa not made by wiseco. click here for pistons i have
  6. Now that you said what you said, I'm kinda rethinking it...makes sense..I guess my new question is this..Vito's Power Piston's are like doing a hand port job. I'm not sure about real hand porting, like if you need to rejet them...if you do then i would think you would need to rejet for these pistons. Do I need to rejet for the break-in period? This is my first rebuild and I want to make sure I'm not missing something. Thanks for the reply though.
  7. I'm about to rebuild the lower and upper I went .20 over i'm trying vitos power piston. new trued welded stock crank stock stroke. I have Toomey T5 pipes. air box with full lid no snorkel. My Main jets are 280 and pilots are 25....26mm stock carbs..where do i start....temp is cold here like 10 degree F but it should stay around 30 or higher for the winter. so i'm looking for a good start for winter jetting and summer jetting. I'm 544.6ft above sea level.
  8. I just ordered the...."vitos banshee "WISECO" Forged Power Piston Top End Kit" I talked to vitos they said there custom made by wiseco for vitos...these give you +6 hp at the rear wheels from Low to Mid range...they have super stock pistons that give you +8 hp at the rear wheels from Mid to top end. thats without any handporting. I just ordered them be here with in a few days i'll let you know what i think. I havent heard anything bad about em though.
  9. Well i'm prolly not gonna go with a stroker but where can i find good deals on hotrod cranks?
  10. Hey I really appreciated the reply helped out a lot. What about my crank...thats what you prolly mean by "Hotrods" right? Got any places with good prices? Thanks again
  11. Well I finally did it... YAY...Blew it up. I was riding it 6th gear 3/4 throttle for a pretty long time.. thats all it took for it to blow hehe. So the left piston blew up the bottom half is in pieces it basically shattered the bottom of the piston. The Connecting Rod bear thats on the crankshaft is toast. I need a new crank. So my 00' Shee is stock this is what it has: T5 Toomey's,Jetted 280 Mains and 25 Pilots,Thats about it. The head doesnt look cut. Confused about new cranks I'm looking at. I see cranks for strokers...but i dont think i need that. This is what I want something pretty fast but not like drag racing...we do a lot of trail riding but do hit roads and race so something i can shit and get it with and have a good time on trails. I'm sure you guys see these posts all the time hope you can help...
  12. Hey guy its been awhile. Anyways I pulled my Carbs off for cleaning. I have 280 Main Jets, 25 Pilot jets. Also found out that if the Carbs were not jetted for the T5 pipes the motor would have just melted down. So to answer my own question it is jetted. Thank you guys for all the help I use the same mixture of gas. I ride in a lot of dirt,mud,water...I live in IL we do a lot of trail riding.
  13. Its running alright except when its started cold it somewhat bogs. Carbs seem to be clogged leaking gas out of the overflow tubes. When its cold and I try to start it, its a pain takes awhile I think because of the carbs being clogged. But after its warmed up there is no problem 1 kick it fires over. I'm mixing gas 4oz to 1 gallon of gas, if that makes any difference to you. I was trying to buy a K&N airfilter but they didnt have them when I went to pick one up so I wanted to ride and just bought a stocker filter. One more question should I do the T.O.R.S Elimination kit, so i dont have to worry about those things on top of the carbs?
  14. Right I never touched carbs I bought it with T5's on it. Its stock besides the pipes.
  15. Have not taken carbs apart yet. There a big pain in the arse if I remember from my old banshee. And I dont have a snorkel.
