Re-sleeving can be just as expensive or more than purchasing a set of used cylinders on a smaller bore. Just me personally I would go with the latter.

I have tapped two sets of carbs without lubricant. One time I used a drill, drill straight in back out and was done. Dont know if id recommend this to other people though

If your using a stock head or 22cc domes, 130psi sounds right. As far as it not firing back up, Check your plugs, Check your coil, Make sure the choke connection tube between the two carbs is in place.

I search the for sale forum all the time and really dont think its that bad. I can look on the front page right now and pretty much all the post title's are self explanitory. My opinion is if your wasting to much of your so-called time sifting through for sale ads, post in the "wanted" section or use the search button in the 4 sale section as 01 stroker has mentioned,.

You shouldn't leave the petcock on because its possible for the fuel to drain out the overflows thus leaving gas on your floor. Check your throttle cable, make sure the slides are not sticking, make sure the carb caps are sealed.
