  1. I found this stuff this looks promising Description of PERMATEX 59235 High Temperature Thread Sealant 50 ml tube OEM specified. Locks and seals threaded fittings. Resists leakage, vibration loosening, moisture, hydraulic fluids and diesel fuels. Lubricates threads for easy assembly and disassembly. Wont shred or wear like Teflon tape. Parts may be repositioned up to 4 hours after application. Suggested Applications: Head bolts into through holes, oil PSI sending units and sensors, oil and coolant lines, fuel fittings, rear axle fill plug, brake and power steering fittings
  2. hello I have an after market t-rex cylinder and some of the stud holes were drilled a little too deep and just barely went through into the cooling jackets. I bought it like this so not sure how or who did it. coolant works its way up the stud and comes out the top of the head. I was thinking of just sealing the bottom of the studs with some sort of sealant when i put them in the cylinder. any ideas of what i should use ? thanks everyone
  3. dude dont even think about giving her shit most likely she found someone else and thats why she's leaving my girlfriend wanted to keep her bike too after i caught her cheating and dumped her then two days later she moved in the guys house lol I sold that shit
  4. awesome dude welcome to the club
  5. cool thanks dude cylinder seems real nice just wish it had seals around the studs it has the old fashion snowmobile power valves with a diaphragm I talked to someone there before he sounded younger, real nice I could try using like yamabond but i would really like to just fix it right I'm worried the coolant might be leaking into the cylinder
  6. I haven't even broken it in all the way yet I've only heat cycled it twice if i pull the cylinder off is it easy to put back on? like do i need any special tools? I've done dirt bikes but nothing with two pistons
  7. yeah! well I have one of their cylinders, the 410 t-rex that came on my banshee i bought I'm having coolant issues where it is traveling up the stud and leaking out of the head nut I was going to have them mill the surface and get a o-ring kit from them, the thing is there's actually no seal between the water jacket and stud so I hope if they resurface it, it will seal better
  8. Hi everyone I was thinking of getting some engine work done anyone have any experience with dasa? I talked to them on the phone and they seemed very nice thanks
