  1. After talking to Trinity, I got some advice to check out East Coast ATV in PA. I called and talked to them and in a nut shell, they build tons of Trinity engines for people on the East Coast. I go up there and drop check out the shop, and it is full of drag shee's and trail bikes, power valves and non power valves. I dropped it off and he is fixing everything for me. Real good dude. I will have reviews next week when this thing comes out of the shop.
  2. Thank you all for your input. Here is the situation. I bought a 2006 SE Banshee w/very low hours. I put between 8-10000 in the bike. I have trinity everything to include a 400cc Powervalve Cheetah engine kit. I run the stock crank. I did not have the space or time to assemble it all my self and I lived in FL at the time. Being in the Army I was stationed in FL on the pan handle. While there, the shop that did work on it installed and did all the work. The guy advanced my timing 6 degrees instead of four and my carbs were not even completely assembled. The top caps came off. Good thing I did not ride it hard or break it in. I do not even have 2hrs riding it since I have it assembled. I wanted to get the carbs synced and jetted for VA. I have 35mm PWK's. I run pump gas due to its availability and just want a fine tune comb run through it to make sure I do not find anything else. I live on FT Lee in Petersburg and want to get this thing going. Has potential to be a monster. I have not even started to run it since May april time frame, which is when I picked it up from the shop. Wish I was close to FAST, or Trinity.
  3. Are there any reputable 2 stroke specialists in or around the VA, MD, DC area? I need to get my shee worked on, and would like someone experienced to handle it. Anyone have anything for me?
  4. If you do a quick search, there are numerous topics on works performance shocks. Yes, it is a night and day difference.
  5. I love mine, I have Works Performance AT Steeler dual rates with remote reservoir and absolutely love them. It's a different ride. I also have the ultra cross rear shock. Unbelievable difference.
  6. I am doing a ground up build, and am piecing together parts as I go along. Majority of everything is brand new. I came across a 1999 banshee engine complete and am not too concerned about its past. I plan on opening it up and replacing everything that is questionable to include transmission and crankshaft (trued and welded). I am even powder coating the engine cases and have a 400 PV Cheetah kit to put on it. He is also giving me the frame with it and in talking to him, he stated that it possibly has a place on it that was welded due to a crack. Has anyone here had a cracked frame and still use it. To me, the frame is not the place to mess around. The engine comes complete and I get the radiator along with that. If these parts are serviceable, that is money that I do not have to spend, which is cool to me. I am paying 500 for the engine and whatever else I want. Worst case scenario, if I don't like what I see, I walk away. I have seen pictures, but we all know, what is seen in pics and in person may be two different things. The cylinders are 392cc and it has a stage IV head. What are your thoughts?
  7. I am in the Army, currently stationed at Eglin Air Force Base FL serving as a Ranger instructor. RLTW!
  8. Sidewinder, give them a call, they are expensive, but have bulletproof products.
  9. Wouldn't that depend on what kind of shock you have, stocker or aftermarket. I sent mine to TCS this week. I should have it back in a few weeks. You have to describe to them what setup you have and how you ride as well as your weight.
  10. I only brought it up due to the fact that this is my first ATV, and I like it so much, I am building my own from the ground up as you can see in my signature. I do not want it to be a waste. That's all. Thanks
  11. As we all know, two strokes are no longer in production in large sizes. It is just a matter of time before we are no longer allowed to ride them. How much more time do you think we have?
  12. I will more then likely do the same.
  13. I might get a negative 1 for my shee as well. I am building another one as well, and will extend that one.
