  1. I was in earlier with the winning input. I'll take ALL the cookies and a tall cool glass of milk. But I'll share.....
  2. ^^^^ Joined in May..... Doesn't know who the big boys are yet. LMFAO
  3. In the future, if I'm going to be wrong about something......I'll be sure to let your know first. Untill then....assume a have a large collection of clues. Now here is the next free Tid-bit of info..... Find some cylinders with life left on them, call Jay and plan a 4 mill build with him, drop off parts, come back and pay for fully ensembled motor, install in frame and dyno tune, TAKE ALL ADVISE GIVEN THAT DAY......Enjoy a motor with REAL power, spend time looking for new friends that can at least keep up with you and your new machine on a ride. You're welcome.
  4. Call F.A.S.T. and order a punctuation 12 pack.
  5. Your jetting is WAY OFF. Get ready for a burndown.....followed by a rebuild. Any bike that runs better WITH the airbox lid is running CRAZY LEAN with it off. Installing a lid is NOT jetting.
  6. Pilots to small Airscrews closed Head gaskets blown Too low octane Airleak Broken pump drive gear Forgot oil in fuel Animal nest in tailpipe Etc...... It's a long list of possibilities.
  7. You were just told $285 You don't want it. I don't want it. Educated people know the true benefits of a round carrier. (You couldn't PAY me to run the stock design) since you can get quality arms for $300-$400 new....I would think Ebay would be a good place to find a buyer. Use it or be happy to get something in the $285 range.
  8. Because it uses the stock carrier design. Interesting piece though. It's solid aluminum for sure. You can tell by looking at the welds near the shock/link mount. That's gotta be old. The industry was gung-ho for playing with aluminum in the mid 90's. I'm betting it's lighter than stock.... (EVERYTHING IS) But nowhere near as light as what a good chromoly arm weights.
  9. Holy shit....is that aluminum? Nice looking piece. To bad it uses a factory carrier. The upper J-arms are factory.....just chromed.
  10. OH FFS! WTF are you talking about? There is no way that 4 laps on an MX track did a damn thing to your filters/carbs/motor or anything. (Unless you're retarded and can't mount anything correctly or maybe forgot to oil your filters. ) At BEST you had an issue because you needed to jet your machine. I've ran pods and outerwear's for years. I've ridden down creeks! Been mudded out and dusted out at The Badlands in Indiana. Ridden sand dunes. I haven't had an airbox in 15+ years on ANY of my Banshees and it HASN'T BEEN AN ISSUE. Airboxes are on my list of things to immediately remove from a Banshee. They rob power. (If you were making any, you woukd know that.) As a matter of fact......for me, when I see an airbox on a Banshee it tells me 2 things..... #1 - NOOB #2 - Knows nothing about jetting Rip that shit off. Get some pods and get with the program.
  11. Your CDI fires BOTH plugs at the same time. So your plug gets fired at nearly TDC and BDC. If your flywheel spun on the crank (Sheared or rolled the key. AKA "Took the key for a ride") it can trigger the plugs to fire at the halfway point. Depending on the location of the flywheel and piston when the bike shut off…..it can fire a 1/2 compressed charge and that will end up going down instead of all the way up. Now your motor is running backwards…….. Backwards is bad MmmmmmKay?
  12. ……...and now it just sits.
  13. I've never been passed by a hill. LOL
  14. Well I'll tip toe into this one. Since Tyler is now taking over my roll of posting testing info. (Big change for a guy who usually bashes dyno testing) I guess I should play the roll of Tyler and say some over the top shit about nobody winning anything with them and them never being proven on a track.....) Instead I'll just ask.....Then why are you running LED pipes? LOL
  15. Jerry Hall is a perfectionist. Mailman on here has had LOTS of experience dealing with Jerry. Jerry has a dyno and he's not afraid to use it. If you wanna send stuff to Jerry, go right ahead. He's not quick with the turn around, but you'll have a perfect motor when you do. You'll get your stuff back a lot quicker than if you sent stuff to Passion. PM Mailman for more feedback. Jerry is local to him.
  16. ^^^ goop the cylinder exhaust bosses. If you put a glob of silicone IN the pipe it will get pushed and scraped by the cylinder as you mount the pipe. You could end up with a balled up blob sitting IN your pipe or end up with a ring of silicone at the edge of the exhaust that narrows the pipe size. I use quality RED RTV sealant on ALL my pipes. (FMF thru SHEARER. They all get it.) Just wipe off excess before it sets up.
  17. People spend SOOO much time and effort on locking a motor in place. Reality is, it can't twist that many degrees of rotation. But if your swingarm twists a couple of degrees.....it's LENGTH magnifies that rotation. It can move left/right and even twist clockwise/counter clockwise. This will cause chain/sprocket misalignment. Using worn parts with new parts can be an issue as well. Stretched chains wear new sprockets. Overly worn sprockets ruin new chains quick. Having the proper torque on the swingarm mounting bolt is another VITAL factor.
  18. No....go ahead an rush into using a fuel you know nothing about. You don't know anything about tuning it or reading plugs......not even sure where to buy it or what it actually is...... By all means, run to a big box store and dump coin on triggering your next rebuild. FFS
  19. Uuuuuhhh Gotta agree. This site is awesome for getting info and helping people......but FIRST you should have a manual and read it. SECOND.....go get dirty and at least read up enough to pull it apart. Then actually TRY to visualize how it goes together and do some Googling, Searching and reading. THEN go for the full help wanted post.
  20. The part where he said he made a Windy post……..
  21. ^^^^ Takes suggestions and tries them then gets back with results quickly. Thanks people politely for the input. I'm liking this cat already.
  22. You can go 66.5 That cylinder still has life. A re-ring is almost NEVER OK. Bore it true again. Light hone and new pistons.
