  1. *UPDATE* new O-ring kit and springs came in from amazon. Shipped was 12.99... Thank you prime. The old orings weren't torn, marked, or beat up in any way. Placed the new ones in the pipe and then spent the next hour trying to get the pipe on the cylinder. Finally gave up. I picked up the old orings and then went with some red RV silicone on the pipe. That, along with new springs, has a much tighter fit. There is no way that the pipe with the new orings was going on the cylinder. I actually tried greasing it up and trying that and still couldn't get it on. I ended up taking some material off the first oring to see if that helped and still no luck. I'll keep an eye out for any leaks on the pipe and continue to silicone. Not fun and I've never had this issue before but I've always ran pro circuit on my bikes. Next thing I would like to do is find some aftermarket intake boots so that I can ditch the ones with the capped off hole from the boost bottle. Anybody know where I can find some?
  2. I'll check out the dual flanges. Might see if I can get some thicker high temp o rings in the mean time.
  3. It's strange. The right side pipe fits snug and tight. No issues. Left side is just a little loose. I'm going to tinker with it the next time I have some day's off. I will say that this quad is a rocketship and this forum is a wealth of knowledge. I have some plans for the quad if I don't make myself sale it. LOL
  4. I left that out by mistake. The pipe does have the 1 mount at the top of the expansion chamber. Maybe I need another washer on it to shim it up?
  5. New to the forum and if this has been asked I apologize upfront. I just picket up a banshee( first ever and first quad for this long time MX'er) this quad has the 421 Cheetah cub kit and Shearer Pipes. I zipped down the road the other day and when I got back I noticed some black oil spots on my left leg and on the left rear fender. Upon closer inspection I found the left Shearer pipe fits somewhat loose on the cylinder. Looking over the mounts the shearer pipe doesn't utilize the bottom mount where it appears that you would have the rubber mount for a pipe. So, all that holds the pipe on is the 2 pipe springs and the stinger. I do have a slick pipe to stinger clamp. The shearer pipe is moving where it mates to the cylinder. So, whats the quick fix on this. New pipe springs, O-Rings, and a bunch of red silicone?
