  1. Only bike that gets ridden........
  2. ^^^ Agree. I've mounted my GoPro to a pole out the front of my machine and taken video of my front suspension in action. (WORKS DUALS) I found the the small spring takes up the majority of the travel. The only way a third spring will be effective is in a long travel application.
  3. Yeah.......CARS get raced around Chicagoland. ATV's get ridden in Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, Missouri.
  4. Illinois powersports FTW! See his website video. You won't have to worry about getting stuck in the dunes. That's for sure.
  5. This is the price of earning late in the game. Run a thicker base gasket for now. The squish will open up....but that's better than too tight or too much compression. Maximizing power for a long trail ride doesn't seem to be a big priority. Not to mention the need to get jetting established for this new motor........
  6. Kicked that crap down the road a while ago.
  7. Get the duals with the resi as long as both shicks are for your weight, the duals will perform better with a remote resi than triples without.
  8. Why? Somebody already told him they ran big ass pipes on a stock bore 350. Now he's going to do it. It will be slower....but SOUND fast....and that's all that really matters.
  9. I called it from the start............ Carry on dope Rapper.
  10. You can make 100HP reliable. It only requires proper jetting. The "Unreliable" reputation comes from thousands of poorly jetted motor failures.
  11. Or you could run a pair of blaster pipes since size, shape, working design RPM apparently have no relevance.
  12. So now he'll run them.......
  13. THIS ^^^^^ The info is being spoon fed to you. Don't rush to the desert. If you wanna go the DIY route and NOT have it bite you in the ass....then this info is the meat and potatoes of the important details. Supplement your info......do a google search of any tech terms you are not 100% familiar with. (2-stroke uncorrected compression ratio) It's one thing to ask a question you don't know the answer to. But the real learning comes when you start asking questions you never knew to ask..... Try calculating what different base gasket thickness would do to your UCCR.
  14. A - You can't hear detonation the way you think you can. If you do......it's REAL BAD. B - You broke pistons and cylinders. What makes you think you didn't have issues? C - Thicker base gaskets raise cylinders and lower compression. Thinner gaskets lower cylinders and raise compression.
  15. It'll take 3-4 tries till it sinks in. In the end he'll just sell it and buy a motor that needs BB pipes. Just watch.......
  16. Almost anyone. NOSS, TITAN, ETC. But first you're going to have to take some accurate clearance measurements. Your NEW domes are going to have to hang down into the cylinders a bit. The trick is to figure how much. NEXT if you really wanna make it worth while, you need to degree the timings on the motor so you can get a dome SHAPE that compliments the port timings. After that, you pick an octane fuel to use and build some domes for the overall package.
  17. Ran great = 57 HP and you could have ran straight pump gas to do it. Stop telling us stuff and start listening. Your compression is around 125-130. I know this from experience added to the pieces of info you have provided. You CAN'T BUY off the shelf domes small enough to need race gas on that set-up.
  18. But he's a dope..... Rapper.
  19. You haven't even done a compression check on that motor. You are assuming 17cc will need race gas. But that is incorrect. The long rod with a Blaster piston will be pretty low compression unless cylinders were decked or complete custom cut domes were made.
  20. Then don't come on here saying something stupid like "my boy did it on his 350 with no problems" .......then turn around and ask if it's ok.
  21. Your carbs are too small for that motor. (I know. I tried) Your main (thanks to an unbelievably stong signal strength) is going to end up around 130. You can chase the jetting.....but you should just jump up to 39-41's.
