I was just saying in another thread how the only time my shee has ever gotten'em up in 6th was bone stock with one foot on the grab bar and about 10 hrs on the whole thing.

The sad part is that most cops think they are above the law..... They are like bullies with a badge to make them sleep at night. If they spent a few of those wasted minutes trying to find a rapest or a child molester I wouldn't mind paying taxes.

my bone stock 02' did 79.6mph with about 10hrs on the motor and a mile run down a flat road. It also was the only time of it's life to ever do 6th gear wheelies with my little ass on it. (short arms)

I've left straight water is my banshee by accident over the winter and the worse thing to happen was some asshole trying to kick it over and broke the plastic impeller gear. No motor damage at all. It get REAL cold her too.

When you cleaned the carbs out.... did you make sure to take out the pilot jet and blow out the circiut with compressed air. As well as check the jets for a nice clean hole when you hold them up to the light. Sounds like you might have a clogged pilot... that's all. Maybe the floats need adj. as well.

Nope... banshee stators are like any other non-battery CDI bike. It's a 3-phase stator like mine except one of the phases is wound with 26 gauge wire with as much as possible to get the super high voltage the CDI needs to push into the ign. coil. The other 2 phases are run open right into the regulator ( one wire ~ blue ~ on subframe) then on to your lights through your handlebar switch. :thumbsup:

rear mount is the way man!!!! My brother has extesive experiance with many different rear mount ls-1 cars. They all rock out! I took a ride in a 2000 camaro with a gt-35 ball bearing turbo. It came to my bro making 300hp, new set of valve springs and a tune later and it left making 712hp. That shit put my eye balls in the back of my head. just remember if your going to run over 600hp in that thing do yourself a favor and get a superglide for it. Especially if your gunna turbo it. along with a nice stall around 3800-4200rpm twin GT-42 ball bearings underhood LS-1 Vette.... dump truck turbo T-82 Don't forget one of these!!!

I've gone through 4 ricky stator 200w stators! They suck ass! Ruined more than one trip up to the mountains for me.... I found a few places that will makle you a custom wound stator. But they are expensive. That why I just made my own. It's not very hard. you just need the right info to do it right. I took my old "electrix" stator that had burned up on me and stripped it down to a bare body (18 poles) and had it powder coated and dipped it in a thinned out jbwld to cover any bare spots. Then used your standard magnet wire to wind a new one out of that. I just did one phase at a time and went counter clockwise then clockwise around each pole. You have to alternate them one way then the other. There is also 2 different ways to wind it.... the regular way is called "WYE" and the way I wound mine is called "delta" which is the more powerful of the 2 ways because your not dividing the current by all three phases resistance. It sounds more complicated than it really is. start reading....learn something MY FAVORITE LINK rewind stator KLX more power rewind WYE vs. DELTA

YEAH buddy!!! I do alot of shooting in the summer down at the local club. But mostly I spend every possible minute I can on the scarab. I live about 10 minutes from 6 lakes. finger lakes and the great lakes (ontario) are nice to live next to if you have a boat. The rest of the time I go hiking and beer drinkin' up in the mountains. Of course my banshee gets a whoopin' when it ridable. I've got it up on jacks right now for a bit of refinements. snowmobiling season is almost over. I'm getting disappionted with this shitty winter anyways. time to get back into banshee mode!

I talk to another guy who turbo's 1200cc 2 stroke triples for a living. He's set up a few national level turbo sleds for a couple racer buddies of his. I guess he's done over 10 of them now.
