bahhhh....It's all wacked out with this single pipee man. I'm going to wait it out and see what I have when I get the shearers and new carbs. I'm dropping the adjustable plate in there next week too so I can change the timing around. My brother has an o-scope we can put on the coil wire to watch for detenation. I talked to him a little while ago he said I can put it up on the dyno roll to run it even though he doesn't have the computer down in the room yet. So at least I can do some tuning without having to go flying down roads everywhere -

same bike, different set-up....turbo shit is on hold for another year or so prob. Too busy with my boat restoration. projects galour! -
I race flat track there sometimes. It is a sick place! Its owned my a family I went to school with. They have one of the only supermoto tracks around here. They also race shifter carts there I think. It's a fucking sweet place to go on a saturday with the little ones

what would be the "recommended squish" for a pump gas banshee engine? I run .060 on my sled but that thing is much different than the banshee -

I never measured it when I put these domes on, I just swapped heads. :ermm: I'll pull it down this week and see what I have. Stock timing plate. I figured with the stocker plate I might be able to get away with it. Guess not. Should I just go back to 24cc domes? I could really care less about compression. I like to stay away from the front lines of the detenation wars. The last thing i want to see it a hole in the top of my pistons. I haven't even been able to ride it with drag pipes and my thumb to the bars yet. -
I guess I should go pick up some race fule to mix until I can find the right domes for my bike...Any recommendations? running 21cc domes... should have my shearers this week coolhead 34pj's dynoport 2-1 for a few more days all aside from the fact that the pipe is strangling that motor so bad I cannot get past 1/3 throttle... it runs very strong

Ok....i got these last year from a fellow HQ'er. Everything is in top notch condition. No stripped bolts or damage at all. Good springs, good caps, good bowl plugs. They are cleaned and work great. I just bought a set of 38mm PWM's for my cheetah....so I'm passing these on to another fella for good use. I would like to see $275 shipped with cable. They are worth it to someone. Contact me at [email protected] and expect a reply within minutes from me. (unless I'm sleeping, 10am-5pm) Otherwise just PM me, but it could be a few days before I check back on the HQ. PS...how you like my spacers...lol...Can't wait to ditch all that crap and snug the new carbs right up to the motor.

.....stop using a ft/lb wrench on it! Those are only for 50+ft/lbs....use an inch/lb wrench and torque to 240inches, or use a degree wheel. And don't forget the assy lube

Those coils like a pretty high voltage input...not sure if the cdi is pumping out the numbers it would normally need. However...a coil doesn't really care what it gets from the input....it will always do it's job regardless.

vitos has some good base gasket choices. I used to buy there copper base gaskets...they had them in all thicknesses. Last time I checked they had stopped making anything but .020 copper gaskets. A worthy investment if you can use one that size. Copper is the best way to go in my opinion

I've ridden my dynoport on a wide range of set-ups.... I like it. I had the best results with 30mm carbs. I even had a 2-1 intake with a 39mm tmx mikuni. That pipe has a very wide power range, but none of it hits like twins...to be expected. I had good luck with it. I raced my buddy all over the place mad times...he is running 28pwks, stock cylinders, shearers, coolhead. i stayed right with him. So regardless of how it feels like it doesn't "hit"....it does have the torque to hold its own. all the way to the top. most people who rode my bike short shifted it thinking that it didn't have much more. But it did....i held that fucker right til it had no more all the time, there it a spot aroud 8-10k where it kept pulling hard. maybe cause I had ported my stock cylinders...not sure. I give it a thumbs up, even when compared to all the other pipes I have run. it's way more easy to tune and ride. down long roads, or tight woods...it worked well. Good pipe, sweet sound

It will if your running nitro...nitromethane is NASTY shit...it's a whole other ballgame. it was more of a joke. It's not a good idea to play with nitro unless your very familiar with it.

Thanks Daj... I took it out for some break in last night.....that 2-1 pipe must be choking it off, cause I have 168's in my pj's and it's still lean. Needles are all wrong too. looks like I'll be picking up a head AND pipes before i go back out for some tuning. I was even considering putting the 30's back on just to ride it in some before i hurt it. Ran pretty good though besides the tuning issue. Feels really strong up top and mid range. Wish I could feel wot, but it can wait. daj judging by the size of your jets is how came to the conslusion that the dynoport doesn't have enough outlet to let it breath properly. I can't wait to see what it has in store for me.

anyone?!?! Also...I'm going to run 35pwk's.....just wondering if anyone else is running a 421 with shearers or cpi with these 35pwk"s....what is your jetting. I'm around 500-1000ft elev....holla!!! I'm about to drop another $1k and I'd like to be close when I set-up. just figured there is at leat 100 peopel here with this set-up.....everyone seems to have a cub 421
