Ok boyz I'll take a crack at this one.... That stuff that was on your head/ cylinder was probably RTV of some sort. It should never be used as a head gasket sealer. It's ok if you had to get that shit off. It's also ok that you make a polish mark on the head surface. This is why your new head gasket has those "shaped patterns" on it..... too fill those small dips and gallies on the mating surface. Just make sure when you install the new gasket (you are going to use a new one right?) the word "UP" actually says UP the right way not backwards. In other words..... YES..... it does matter if it's upside down or not. How's my aim? PS.... next time instead of a Q-tip...(hehe) use something a bit more suitable like a brand new razor blade ( blade only)

Which caliper? I have a stock banshee cali and 2 250r twin piston calipers....? I also have another set of brand new yfz 450 twin pistons for you banshee guys to upgrade with. i will sell those for what I paid a year ago...$120 for both obviously. They never were used before the guy stripped them to build his drag 450. i have sooooo much more shit in the garage I keep finding to take pics for you guys... It's a OEM '02 black tank plastic cover. from the rad cover back. In other words it is both side panels bewtween the seat and the radiator. It's in brand new cond...... $40 shipped... depending on where you are.

I came across a trick that greatly improved my ability to have patience with mounting ATV tires..... Get 2 craftsman red handled pry bars.... work the tire down a cunt hair so you can get both the tips of the pry bars in the bead ring. Take one and put it in finger bend down.... then take the other and put it right on top of the other one into the bead, finger bend side up... Then you can pull the handles together and it acts just like a bead break you would buy from like... RMATV. spreading the fingers apart and pushing the tire bead off the rim bead. You'lll have to do it in 2 or 3 spots to get it to let go. :thumbsup: I pulled a tire off a rim in less then 3 minutes last time I used this technique. :wink: yup.... ripped the bead of the tire.... leaked on the next rim. Had to take it back off the bead again to rubber cement it and seal the mess it made out of a nice tire. Plus it's a bit to rugged for alum rims. You need to be more gentle that you can be with that tool.

Clutch cover is bare... just like you get them from yamaha. you will need the parts from your cover...(i.e. vent nipple and pump shaft bearing/seal) $70 is what I paid for the one from direct drive. I think you found one. just stick with the nylon gear and make sure the drive dowel is in there real good, you may have to shim the shaft a bit to keep it from eating the drive dogs out of the center of the gear. I had to fix a buddies bike that would eat up those bitches left and right.
