ive allready got the 450 arms on my shee and they work great. but im not using 450 shock because of their length. and when i can afford arms for my shee i will get them but right now i dont have $1200+ for a long travel set... i was just curious if it would be the same amount of work to get and what width you would achive.

but they are discontinued. i emailed dmc about a year ago as to the reason and the reply i got was that the muffler mounts are prone to breaking and cracking with hard landings/impacts.

run a Battery elimitator or fix up the rz wiring to charge it from the stator

about 4-5 hours, i used to have the same mods and thats all i was getting

dump it all in the missus car and tell her she owes you gas money :biggrin:

he is the owner of zeeltronic, he makes rz cdi/pv controllers that you can adjust the curves and ignition timing plus a shitload more. as far as i know he hasnt done a conversion but know about the elctrics side of doing one http://www.zeeltronic.com/

i just emailed Borut about which stator you have to use and he said either, but when using the banshee stator he recomends using a yfz450 reg/rectifier... emailed to Borut email Back and he gave me both wiring diagrams which i can post up but there allready on this thread from memory. the difference between the 2 tho is with the rz ststor you have to connect a brown wire (3 from the stator to cdi) but with the banshee the brown wire isnt there so you dont use it (only 2 from the stator to cdi)

he gives you the same unit for both stators, but gives a different wiring diagram. the one he gives you requires you to modify the banshee one and it was too confusing for a electrical retard like me :biggrin: so i just got a rz one, i see them all the time for cheap

mine isnt done yet im still waiting for some custom PV cables. my barrels are at the machine shop and i still need to wire the stator and powervalve servo up. i got pics of my current progress if your interested

you dont need an rz coil. so im assuming you have the jugs with exhaust manifold adaptors, powervalves and head. you'll need a RZ stator assembly, CDI, PV controller (or zeeltronic PCDI-10V), PV servo, and a RZ regulator/rectifier. you will also need a battery eliminator or a motorcycle battery. not to forget small things like PV servo cables, powervlve housing etc. im runiing the PCDI-10V and a eliminator, this is my wiring diagram hope that helps

using the stock banshee wiring will be difficult, you will find that you will bsically cut it up and start from scratch (thats what ive done) also what rz parts do you have for the conversion so far

if youve got PV cylinders with the Pv locked open you basically just got a banshee motor, bout the same power. what have yop got for the rz parts yet youll need stator PV servo CDI Reg/rectifier rz wiring loom (not needed but helps) battery or battery eliminator then theres whole lotta little shit like exhaust adaptors (youll probably allready have them)

anyone else lokking for ideas!

how well did that work? does the servo try to twist instead of opening the valves because its not fixed onto a rigid mounting? anyone else have a different mounting position?
