  6. hey all ive knoticed that when i get goin at about 90kph and over the wheels start t bounce and was wondering if there are weights for them like cars. is this normal or should stock rims not do this my rims are buckled badly and would a new set stop this thanks
  7. CRC or WD 40 can come in handy also sometimes , just be careful where you put it and how rough you ride lol i use it before i go through water on my electrics cause it helps prevent water from getting on them than the bike dieing on me
  8. shell advanced something (fully synthetic) at 32:1 for the top and castrol active 4T for the trans
  9. hey i had the same problem with my o ring chain it was too long but than not long enough, i picked one of these up from yamaha not designed for the banshee for $15 aussie dollars, it shabby but it does the job and yer theres wire holding the spring on
  10. hey sounds like an interesting ride thats the reason you need a helmet cam or someone recording it the first time i came off my shee i was going hard and the track did a hard right turn, i had it all locked up sideways and hit the this 2 foot embankment everything went flying, i bent the handelbars with my knees and my rims were screwed. anyways the idle proibaly just needs adjusting

  12. thanks for the info i have the stock airbox and i can't hose down my shee while its idling, itll will die. its not water in the filter or intake so it must be option 2. the electrics im goining to have to go over it all again (second time, the first i removed al the TORS wiring which gave me some problems) have to try again. .
  13. hey i was told bansheesw arnt good with water and when a river crossing gets to deep or i go too fast throught a puddle or even after i wash it it will die and not start for about 20mins than when i get it started it runs like crap with misfiring and bogging than "when its ready" it will go just like normal. does anyone else have this problem or knows how to fix it? thanks
  14. DAMN unlucky i feel sorry for you guys
  15. hey i get the same problem at school with alot of sites being banned like myspace and hotmail but if you internet allows you to get onto www.proxysurfs.com you might be able to get to the sites, it works at school. the website should allow you to get around the internet filter for most websites
  16. hey i know this may sound stupid but i have a loud clicking type noise on my shee that changes at different rpms and it turned out to be the kickstart rattling cause it got loose check if theres anything loose.
  17. the whole idea of the reed spacers is that more fuel and air gets into the crankcase therefore more can get into the combustion chamber. not worth it the boost bottle isnt worth it either its meant to hold more fuel and air so more can be sucked into the crankcase easier but it doesnt work cause whe one pison is at tdc the other is at bdc about to use it all. sorry that its abit confusing im short for time at school :: but there is a good write up somewhere here on the site do a quick search for it .
  18. ive done that with all my other bikes but never thought about it with my banshee now that you mention it im going to have to do it. with all my bikes ive never had to re jet the carbies either and i think it would sound differentbut play around dont just cut the end off cause somtimes it sounds worse than it would with just a tiny adustment like cutting the spark arrestor off and putting the cap back on
  19. id have to agree with lucky13 $100 is a good price, as for the pressure nowhere over 5 psi for trail riding etc but for the street somewhere around 10 to 12 psi

  22. hey i have heard about putting the wheels on backwards (air valve facing inside, towards each other). i know that this will give me a slight increase in width but would my axle be able to support the extra length. i have a stock axel and was wondering if anybody has done or tried this
