  1. thats different cause... i live in australia and it was going to cost me $400 for standard pistons from yamaha with all the gaskets. it was going to cost me $500 for wiseco or pro-X with all the gaskets. BUT... to order a wsm rebuild kit from america wich had all the gaskets in it it cost me $200 ??????????????? anyway to be continued on the pistons proformance (remember the prices are australian)

  3. hey have you had the carbs apart, mine had the same problem cause i put the slides in the wrong sides. it wouldnt idle blew a lotta smoke and while riding would have no power

  6. yep, found out a couple of days ago my shee hadnt had a rebuild since 2001 when it was born...lol but it looked good and had reasonable compression
  7. hey i had the same problem but my left side was had the problem with the exact same thing, i dont know if i fixed the problem yet cause im waiting for a rebuild kit but i found that part of the noise reduction in the muffler had broken off and was blocking most of the passage, i also found in the electrics some faulty/rusty joins
  8. yep and in australia and some other places its very similar to the 2002,2003,2004,2005,2006 and very very similar to the 2007 model the only difference is... the plastics. they are the same as the 07 but where the red is on the 07 plastics its orange

  12. haha know what you mean i had a 1991 kx 125, (picked up for free for spares) and whoever had it must have lost the oil drain plug so "who care oil dont need be changed anyway" and they welded the hole shut. but thats not all when i got it home i noticed that the was oil in the bike so i pulled the motor out and tipped it upside down into a drain pan and what comes outta the gearbox F@#$ING 2 Stroke oil. dumb arse

  15. yer , i know ill get mixed opinions but thats what they are opinions, and the reason i asked for hard wearing is because i ride on all types of surfaces and am not made of money (unfortunatly). the local mx track is sand and the other that i also race at is hard pack, i have ridden in dunes/beaches and i do ride on gravel. thanks for your reply tho

  17. hey all i have torn the motor down for a rebuild and will end up taking the motor completly out. i will be repainting the barrels head etc, what paint should i use i will also hopefull be painting the chassis and swingarm and was wondering what type of paint to use for that thanks
  18. hey all i need some new tyres now and after a lot of searching my quastion still hasnt bee answered, what is the hardest/longest wearing 4 ply tyre on the market. please include the tyres full name cause through most of my reading its has bee " the best tyre is kenda klaw". lol which klaw the MXR or XRC etc etc... also its off topic but ill just include it all in one post, at what rpm does a stock banshee hit the rev limiter and is the rev limitwer in the tors. thanks

  20. just while where here making stupid posts about a made up quad i thought i might add that im selling some M'N'Ms. It was a multi pack but i ate all the peanut/crispy ones and just have the plain ones left. make some offers DOORSLAMMER

  22. hey tore it down and the pistons and barrel were perfect, did a compression check before hand and it was 123RHS and 120LHS still havent found the problem any more ideas would be gratly appreciated thanks
  23. thanks just tried that and still no success hmmm... any other ideas? really want all posibilities befor i tear my top end apart just an idea but could it be a blocked exhaust? thanks again
  24. hey all well another problem for another day, the left cylinder will idle and rev fine and work a little than it stops ?firing?. it wont run on the same side utill the bike is turned off than started again to whichit will go for a little tan cut out. i have cleaned the carbs and put new spark plugs in to no success. also sometimes when i stop and turn it off there a clunking noise like somthing is falling in the left muffler thanks
