I found it less time consuming to tune my clutch when I went 300' drags , I could have gotten lucky or had some wheel spin compensating or the bigger RO powered through the clutch better . I would love to do more 300' just nothing around by me

I have weent as far as having arms made out of diffrent materials to reduce centrifugal force and just add weights if needed , my small motor doesn't need much weight if any on most tracks . Multistage is much better option in adjustability and quickness of adjustment. I got my boys r1 pretty spot on in 3 passes on the street

Do you have springs on the shift fork shafts , the drums are relief cut to allow you to override the gear your in and bang into the next, without spring tensions on the sliders it will bind

What was it doing to make you pop the top off it, I would have checked squish . What you had right there can run in the right hands. Most would consider it it a cobbled together. If it were me and planned on building something else later I would deck the cylinders and head for a good seal and put it back together , that look to be wang crank that I wouldn't put a wampus over unless u let me swap rods n bearings and just reuse the webs. Either way it ain't cheap , if your gonna order a cool head from Jeff 22 cc domes won't cut it on a 4 mil for pump need 23.5-24 cc domes if it were my motor I would deck the cylinders about .005 order .025 and .030 base gaskets 24 cc domes and noss head . If u need to clean the cylinders up let me know

I would do both for a diner , tranny is a must a lockout gives you a lot of options for different riding

Is that a wang crank , can't tell from picks, in hine sight you should have let me build you killer , you would be riding not ripping it down

If u can return that crank and get a hot rods or vitos 4 mil long rod it will be your best option I have seen many ducked up wiseco cranks with broken rods separated webs. Maybe they have improved but I boubt it
