  3. There are def more of u out there, not many speak up. 90% of places will hand you s cub back just the way you got it back . I have had a dozen or more customers in your exact shoes . IMO the 300 you pay to port a cub is also a safety net for a builder if your nikasil chips during porting. There is def more to be had out of that cylinder but I don't think u got ripped off either. Keep in mind I'm not an hjr fan . Unless you degree it with suggested gaskets you don't really know if he touched anything and his idea of a drag port is prob diffrent than something I would run on the pavement. . You also can't compare it to stock cylinder porting due to the risk factor
  4. Go rite to the 30s, 340s sounds rich on top with no porting but if the plugs look good leave it , I don't have much experience with the pipe your running
  5. Yes start 4 th clip adjust out from there
  6. If was no typo, stock motor wid lid 240s, lower temps maybe 250s . If everything is tight n built rite 240s, I've also found fmf fattys like a bigger pilot if you were removing lid I would suggest 30 pilots 280 main but kid on 240s all day

    Front is strutted or shaws a pic of set up would help, if there's shock involved could be the problem , as your accelerating if there's diffrnt resistance it will turn you, I also had an issue with my bar once, I went dirt dragging the weekend before and must hAve tweeted my bar in a rut , then went to aspault and almost put myself in the wall. Round house carrier or stock?

  12. Sort of, I would bend you new stingers to fit maybe even come out the center which is allways killer,

Nology could will give u a diffrent reading, honestly at this point this is where donor parts come in handy just because stator tests good doesn't mean it's good and I've had them test bad and work a lot of variables in an ohm reading . Without it sitting in front of me hard to say , I've also had bikes with pinched orings that were fine cold on a pressure test but when u got it hot would sputter , you could try getting it hot and testing the cooling system and same for pressure testing the motor get it ripping hot then do pressure test but u gotta be set up ready to go with all tools ready, other than that I would try a stock coil , diffrent stator

  18. Yes a copper crush washer and you can kiss it with rtv just don't go crazy
  19. 175 main, 48, pilot ncvq needle 4 th clip , air screw 3 turns out, I doubt it's the jetting,if u sprayed the the carb slide with cleaner the oring expands and fucks throttle opening, my suggestion would be #1 leKdown test to make sure valves are sealing at tdc #2 check valve lash I'll bet dollars to donuts that where the problems lie , need to re shim valves before you damage something #3 make sure your excellerator pump is skirting fuel good #4 all else fails drop it off lol I've built some killer 450s
  20. Are you talking readings to ground and got that , it's possible that you fried a winding and its grounding out
  21. Gas is 175-180 main to start , 52-55 pilot, dgh 4 th clip 11/2 on air screw
  22. You can't buy jets for alky someone has to set carbs up , do you have a power jet installed already ? Similar set up by me is .1225 dump/ main, 55 pilot and egn needle 2 clip , big bowls one float cut off and some little circuits drilled a lil bigger start pj 6 turns out and go from there and squeeze it down
