  1. Reeds solved it. Even now. But I do see how uneven the straps are in relation to each other. Oh well runs like a raped ape anyways. Thanks to everyone
  2. I am running pods. They are brand-new with outerwear. I will double check them. I got new reeds installed last night. Hopefully that solves the problem. I also pulled the head to look at wash. Everything looked good and even, maybe a little rich but even. Rechecked compression on my snap on, 164-165. Leak down head 6psi for over an hour (used a Mac air gauge this time around). With the even wash maybe the direction the plug strap is facing has a little something to do with what I am seeing.
  3. Thanks I will do that.... And put them on my wife's later lol.. I cannot wait that long
  4. That's what I thought. I will order new and hope it works out. Any other ideas are apresiated though
  5. How much if any gap should be on reeds? If I touch them two pedals on suspect side push Dow but fraction of a mm Compression is 165 and 166
  6. Carbs are synced and the problem does not follow the carbs. I have switched them and the problem remains on the same cyclinder. I will be checking the reeds the reeds next. Although they are fairly new....who knows.
  7. Pulling my hair out and don't know if I should be concerned or not. Left plug looks slightly richer than the other. Bike runs great, passed three leak down tests, new pipes no leaks, new carbs and I have switched them from side to side with same result, new coil also tried switching plug wires with same results, newer reeds, carbs are in sync at idle and higher rpms, carbs open all the way, did it on a couple pairs of plugs to check. etc. what to look at next? Thanks 35mm pwk jets are the same, so are needles New pods Vforce 4 could I have messed them up that quick? They were on old motor 2 months before install 421 serval Driveline domes (165 and 166 on snap on guage) .44 squish on both sides Shearer in sb 50/50 vp110 and pump 93 Castor 927 32:1 Sea level 95 degrees Thanks
  8. Not trying to tune off free reving. Under load imo will make it an even leaner condition..?. Not reving high at all, less than half and yes gas off, slides closed when pop occurrs. Too much money in this one to blow it up.
  9. Now that read what I posted I did not clarify. these are regular pwk i had air strikers before
  10. Got some 35pwk from FAST ( *did have air strikers and they are a pita, don't do it) I have jetted my other shees fine but this one is troubleing me. I have not spent much time with them. kids, business and wife don't allow so before playing any more I thought I would ask. When the pilot is lean does that make it "pop pop" after reving down.. In neutral? Even on both sides. Seems like I am in the right range. Responds good, returns good. Idles best at 1.5 turns out and shuts off at half. No air leaks Slides are in sync as well as idle 5+ timing Shearer sb in frame 421 serval clean up port and plated 22cc domes 160psi 50/50 110vp Large pods( fresh and oiled) 32:1 oil Vforce 4 162 mains cel 4th clip 52 pilots Maybe the pipes? Maybe rich under burnt fuel? I have some 58's should I try them?
  11. What do you think of value as a part out if is does not work out?
  12. Thanks for posting the chart. What is a "worm hole"? Is that like a boost port?
  13. Of corse three banshees are nice but that's like having three blondes. A redhead is nice every once in a while.
