  1. A few things can cause this either the brass internal bushing on basket is offset , collar inside bushing is worn down allowing washers to grip basket or you put something in wrong
  2. Did you epoxy that , if not looks like a pre existing issue you unearthed
  3. An air leak can cause a bearing to seize , and cause it to run hot and end up collapsing skirts (shrinking) of a piston

I see another rebuild in your future, I wouldn't ride it till you do a proper leakdown test and not with throttle body cleaner with an actual tester, compression test it, coolant pressure test it, . Or take it to someone who has the tools to do s proper job banshees get a bad rap because of what's going on rite here . Where do you live

  18. I wouldn't put another jet into it until you leak test it , an air leak will give you diffrent color plugs from side to side

  24. I've said this a few times , don't get stuck on jet numbers give it what it wants if the main chops good maybe you need bigger pilots but figure out main first if you don't wanna chop it keep adding main till you lose power then back it down
  25. A lot of times pipes were previously ran rich an oily and once you actually start getting heat through them the rite way they will burn the bad packing up . Get a temp gun and check cylinder temps after riding, jetting is damn close considering every motor is diffrent . . I also found the jjh needle works well in ported set ups
