  1. sent them out for glass beading (polish inside) and powder coating the outside, I will post pics when I get them back.
  2. Glass beading makes sense, does the idle, air screw need to come out for that?
  3. Looking for advise with what to next with my carbs. Do I soda blast them or have them anodized. or are they junk I used the wrong cleaner in the ultrasonic cleaner and it turned my 35mm keihn carb black, luckily I was doing one at a time I used the correct cleaner in the ultrasonic cleaner and it is helping but not perfect.
  4. OK sounds good I will do that. figured I would ask first I always get good advise here
  5. Where do recommend I get a wiseco stroker head gasket from. I can't find it anywhere 18-7925 is the wiseco part number
  6. That would make sense and I have heard that said. And I do monitor my temp in races and Sunday rides. During races my shee has gotten up to 230 degrees with no issues. And I run oversized radiator. But my cylinders look like crap they are original 2006 and I want them looking good with powder coating, this will be a good trial run at 80 over. I monitor the coolant temp with a trail tech voyager.
  7. Great thanks for the advise I'm giving the machinist the go ahead. My issue was scratching the powder coat but mainly my pc guy is on vaca and I want to have it ready to go for him when he gets back. Less down time ya know. Thanks again guys.
  8. Zillla freak was that after having it bored? Looking like a mislightly mixed opinion here
  9. Can you powder coat a cylinder in oven up to 400 Degrees after you bored it 80 over because machinist says no and the powder coat guy says it doesn't matter both are really good at what they do I just want to make the right call it's not an instant flash heat they put it in the oven and they turned up to 400 so it's gradual what are you guys think what have you done
  10. Did you have to modify anything to install these lights. I like your setup and I think I am going to get those lights
  11. This is a great topic been wanting to replace my stock headlights with Rigid Industries R-46 LED Lights and then a 10" light bar later on for the handle bars. For the banshee would it be necessary to modify the electrical system to when adding a LED light to replace the factory ones. It is a DC voltage to the headlights already.
