  1. Yea I was thinking of buying an adapter plug in eBay so I could try his cdi. I don’t mind spending the money on a oem one if I know that is what I need. I’m just not the type of person to just keep throwing parts at it till it works. Especially with how expensive the OEM CDI and stator is.
  2. Has anyone used any of the aftermarket cdi units with any luck. I checked my stator and it checks out ok so it may be my cdi causing my problems. The bike sounds like it is fouling plugs when I’m riding it. I changed the coil with a known good one with no difference. I can’t switch with my sons cdi cause the plugs are different.
  3. Also it is all original electronics with the tors deleted.
  4. I have a 96 banshee and have had no problems with it until recently when it warms up it Acts like the plugs are fouling out (sounds like it isn’t firing right and is down on power) but if you let it cool for 10 min it will run perfect again for a little while i installed new plugs no difference took the coil off my sons and put it on and it did the same thing is it possible it is the Stator. 115 on both cylinders and the plugs don’t look fouled out and it starts up on its kick every time. Temp is around 130-150.
  5. No it fits fine on my 96 but on my spare trans it just slips over the treads like it would take a smaller nut. When you look up the nut on eBay it is listed for 89-06. That is why I wondered if 86-87 was different.
  6. Is there Different front sprocket nuts for banshee depending on year. I have a spare trans and my nut off my 96 is to big. I am talking about the thread size. I have no idea what year the spare trans is from.
  7. I just jumped the gun and tested it before I tightened the primary gear nut all the way.
  8. It holds 6 pounds for 6 minutes now. Must have been cause my primary nut wasn't tourqued down when I tested it.
  9. I did squirt the tester down I did not see any bubbles on that either from a leak
  10. I will check that also it has a cool head on it with all new seals the whole motor has new seals in it a new crank and Pistons. I will recheck it after I get my primary gear toward down tight
  11. I lose half a pound in six minutes I cannot find a leak anywhere squirted everything down next to submerging the motor underwater and cannot find any bubbles. Only thing is I did not have my primary gear torqued yet because my clutch and stuff was not on to hold it from turning to torque it down. Still though there was no bubbles around the primary gear at the time.
  12. Hell they even come in different colors to match your plastics. Lol
  13. Cool thanks. Last time I just wrapped the cases with I rachet strap and cranked it to 20 foot pounds .
