  1. I just see money being thrown down the tubes on a top end , did you pressure test motor before tear down to verify seals are good and pin point reason for failure. Banshees get a bad wrap because 99% of owners fail in proper procedure on teardown and assembly. Where do u live I would be willing to point you in the rite directions.
  2. Not for nothing even if you had an 06 shee the crank seals would be almost 10 yrs old , when the bike eats itself and all your new stuff too from bad crank seals you'll be kicking yourself in the ass
  3. Chances are if bushings are bad the fingers are grooved and will effect clutching
  4. Compression test it I have a theory but would like to see compression numbers first
  5. IMO leaks don't go away they get worse, I wont let anything leave my shop unless it holds 100%,usually backfiring is electrical or airleak , gap plugs at .020, ohm out coil , check pickup gap also .020 on both nubs, all u need is spark compression and fuel
  6. Sucks that they don't allow studs , only thing my bike will hook up nice with . There's a fine line between tire/psi/clutch tune . Start dropping base pressure outta your clutch to resist tire spin
  7. People allways overlook the cover itself , it's a stop for the shaft , if I'm not mistaken doesn't mull shift star have longer pins
  8. If your idle screws are all in to get it to idle pilot is too rich , stock pilots are a 60 in 35 pwk so that's def no good , try a 48-50 pilot and see whet needle is in it if it's a deg needle try leaning it out one clip at a time , if problem persists might need a cel needle leave main at 165 till u get other areas sorted enouph to do a plug chop and be careful with your tune on that crank wiseco cranks don't like heat at all and will come apart if it's not on the safe side
  9. I would def pressure test motor and coolant system I've seen small head gasket leaks cause fouling plugs many times
  10. I I like the crank works billet over twister billet , I've seen both fail but more twister failures including snouts completely sheared off but some people can't build motors and it's prob set up
  11. I still think the op is off on his gearing compared to my experience
  12. I also go over 10k with overevs
  13. You should come on my pit crew lol could use a guy like you, I have custom primaries and my tires def swell
  14. Forget mph for now what is your 60ft . If your not in the Lo lo 1.4,1.3 area your not effectively pulling that gear. What kind of clutch tuning are u doing. And Zilla your calculations are off on real world numbers last time at the track with an hq member that has never ridden asphault my bike hit 108 with 16/41 and it's went faster with me on it
  15. I just got a brand new set of 35s to put on a bike, installed , holked up fuel line, turned on gas and it dumped all over. My fault for not checking float heights on spanking new shit. I set em to 16 mm and no issue any more, upp boots 35 pwks. The float tab wasn't even contacting the needle all the way seated. Make sure your adjusting them correctly on a tilt just be rely letting the center pin touch the tab
  16. Where do u live?
  17. You can index ur plugs but that's a little out of the norm on shees
  18. I'm trying figure out how a bike runs good 4th on but doesn't run good anywhere else.. I'll bet your mechanic has little to no clue how to tune and set up a shee
  19. Only advise I can give is beware, unless u have endless bankroll . There a few members on here that can make anything work. Unless your one of them stay with proven main stream stuff . If it's crackhead pricing and you don't care about blowing it up go for it. It's prob got custom everything inside that motor
  20. Make sure u pressure test your motor before running it saves a lot of headaches . Surf is in the ballpark depending on porting styles , my porting likes bigger pilots some others don't depending on tunnel volume
  21. I've used them a few times on customers bikes that knew more than me about banshees . I did however drill the fuel circuit out , most peeps around me are cheap fuckers
  22. Wiseco is a great piston choice if your trying to squeeze every bit of performAnce out of it wsm forged race pistons
  23. Any time buddy, a few others on here have asked me for porting advise , I've been soooo busy lately havnt had a chance to get back to them. Glad shee turned out good
  24. I've made custom bent snipers before for a Yfz , they are by far the easiest to bend stingers for with double slip fit o ring design . He sent me unbent pipe he uses and expansion chambers not welded together I'm sure he'll work with you . On the other hand I know shearer will bend them for you. I specialize in sleeper performance
