  1. Pre bake is a must as stated , blasted, baked , blasted , hot tank powder , keep in mind I'm not a powder guy just was allowed to use someone's equipment i. It's about 9 yrs old and holding strong
  2. Head gasket small leak
  3. Wsm has domes for that set up in 13*
  4. The domes you put in were big bore domes but what about the angle. Are your Pistons 13* , is your dome 11*. All things that need to be dbl checked. Most off the shelf big bore domes are 11*
  5. Put the dampners back in im pretty sure the engineers at yamaha put em there for a reason , make sure bottom dog bones are in good shape so motor doesn't cock on you
  6. Redline is the only one having the bushings made in quantity, he was running extremely low last time I checked and I had to get a set of straight cuts without it. . It's probably cheaper to get a used basket n press bushing out . I have a sacrificial bushing I use as a press tool so I don't damage good bushings on the press
  7. Surf beat me to it
  8. Whatever color lets get it going, let me know
  9. Personally I think it's lean on the main fat on the pilot but every bike is diffrent . Just jetted a no ported cub at 48,165 cel 2 nd clip
  10. The saying goes , you replaced the part but did you fix the problem
  11. Thanks for the input I'll keep u guys posted
  12. I'm not worried about the emissions part of it but more worried why everyone hates the 6.4 is it a bag of shit mechanically or just power wise . I'm not looking to go racing with this thing but it will be used as a daily driver . Not looking for a headache
  13. New is not an option at this point my boy is a diesel guy and is telling me I want an 03-7.3 or an 06-6.0 and I know enouph to be dangerous
  14. Lil jake it simple math your taking the same cc dome and stuffing added volume from stroke n bore so uccr goes up considerably. On stock cylinder 23.5-24 cc domes is safe for pump n a lil timing. You can defiantly push the envelope as long as you read your plugs correctly and have a good ear n feel for the engine . If your not so great at tuning and maintenance go with the bigger dome . Shoot for .050 squish on any of your domes and it will last
  15. Ok so here it goes. I'm in the market for a diesel pickup . I only seem to find 6.4 fords around here . I'm def gonna have to travel to pickup a 6.0 or 7.3 and most of the 6.0 arnt bullet proofed. Are the 6.4s really that bad? How much does it cost to bulletproof a 6.0 and what's it consist of? I'm not jumping into anything I'm doing my research and waiting for the rite truck and a lil info would be greatly appreciated
  16. My snap on has diffrent hoses too but I bought the motorcycle kit , craftsman had way more hoses
  17. I'll do one in each color , do I paypal u
  18. Can u order s/m or u set on those sizes most of my flex fits are s/m
  19. I have an old school snap on , and a craftsman that I take on the road . Both read damn close to each other .the craftsman cam with a ton more adapters than the snap on unit and was half the price . I'm still a a snap on guy tho
  20. I adjust it with lockup off and throw 2 springs in temp
  21. Hard start is more than likely a valve train issue , I build quite a few four strokes now so I have descent experience with 450s . You said it was a big bore rite? Does it have cam mod done ? Anyways my best results always include a bored carb, adjustable leak jet, ncvq needle , 48 pilot 175 ish main . if you live semi close I can look at it and do a leakdown , compression and go through valve train and tensioner system . Something tells me it wasn't assembled correctly
  22. .050-.060 on swish is a huge diffrence so which is it . How are you checking it? If your only testing one side readings will be higher due to piston rock on the pin , you need to have solder on both sides to get correct squish . You should have a smaller number towards the cylinder wall and get a lil bigger towards plug hole if domes are cut correctly
  23. If that's the only issue I can fix it for about $200. That's using hr bearings . Upgraded bearings will cost a lil more
  24. Billet back piece is upside down
  25. If it's in fact leaking from one of those studs its not sealed properly . Either you didn't clean it well enouph for sealer to bond of didn't do it properly
