  1. My favorite degree wheel is a motion pro set from wsm , with my dealer accnt it was like $85. Comes with 3 bushings for diffrent size cranks , magnetic base with guage . I made a cpl pointers out of welding wire . Then I added a few top dead center guages for various thing like adjusting cam timing on street bikes
  2. Will you sell me webs?
  3. I locktight all of them , clean threads with brake clean or ascetone , locktite then tighten
  4. Swap plug wires see if it follows
  5. I've been in contact with him and it is an option as soon as he gets it torn down usps ships priority 2day for cheap
  6. Not some guys , one guy put it in cause he had it laying there
  7. I know nothing about that dirt bike needle. IMO get it running with the known good eek then you can experiment. There's 100s of people running the eek with great results , I don't see any reason to reinvent the wheel. The fact of the matter is extensive testing has been done to these set ups if there was some majic
  8. I've ran eek, dek, dej needles in 2-1 set ups . Put a known needle in it like above get it to idle good , chop the plugs to dial in main then fox with the needle adjustment. If you have a good ear and jetting experience shouldn't be a problem
  9. On the plus side tons of bowl out there from guys that switch to oversized billet ones put an add in the wanted section
  10. It was normal back in the day to get clutch actuator to clear bowl , I've seen it before , not optimal but works
  11. a service manual should be mandatory for all bhq er newbies. There is so much to check with a no spark situation but you need tools or spare parts
  12. I usually drain fluid , remove caliper . Put banjo fitting back in and thoroly degrease. Pop piston out with compressed air clean everything with brake clean n compressed air . Look at seals replace if necessary, lube it up with dot 4 reinstall pistons , reinstall caliper n try again
  13. Digital multi meter and a service manual
  14. Check directions but I'm pretty sure they want it 4" or so from piston and don't just jet on egt temp . Jet by plugs like normal then check egt . Get a set distance layed out then check egt just as it gets into the traps, 1100 seems to be a good number
  15. Cam I'm well aware of all that and am willing to either swap parts or exchange entire tranny but he wanted me to ship a promod out without even seeing his tranny. If it was someone I knew or seen around a lot I wou consider but he just joined the other day and I wasn't comfortable sending out something I put time into
  16. As for RU I'm rite on top of that , don't know why I didn't think of that .
  17. Does anyone know the OP , I offered to help him out. He wants me to swap him a pro mod for his override but without knowing him or seeing him on here much I'm not very comfortable sending him one of my trans without making sure his is in good shape, I've seen to many hacked up overrides with every thing rounded out and not fixable. If anyone can vouch for him let me know
  18. I'm from Long Island I pmed u
  19. I use techniplate above 40 amsoil below I've done experiments and watched it separate in front of me in glass jars
  20. Pm your cell, I'll send u pic of my set up when I get home
  21. Wud wurk gr8
  22. Easy there , what about head gasket. I usually test on the bench but have done it plenty in chassis. If you can pull the coolant hoses off rad and take clutch side hose and clamp it rite to head making closed loop. Then your left with little nipple on top of head, plug it up and test. Do this before tearing into clutch side to make it easier on yourself. If you plug all coolant lines and it stops leaking it's a head gasket. Maybe you can post a pic of your tester something sounds not rite
  23. I've done multiple trans to say the least , you can not do a simple drum, star swap . You would need a new drum and two new sliders on rear tranny shaft . .if everything is in good shape I could convert it to a pro mod rather easily
