  2. holy shit thats expensive and only a single rate! for less than that you can get some dual rate elkas or works, i thuink works tripple rates with rezzys are only 5 sumthin, and i know the elkas dual rates are like 454
  3. ah i see, well dont get the older ones they suck
  4. there is no adjustments on them, well ok they have the same preload adjuster as stock banshee shocks if you want to call that a adjustment
  5. i rode a ltz400 last weekend while my buddy was on my banshee i was on his ltz, all i can say is it might as well not had any shocks on it at all it rode like a brick!!!
  6. its on here somewhere with pics of a completed one, looked stock as hell except for the pipes it was sweet, it was maybe 6 months ago or so when it was posted
  7. once you get that front end on and go for a ride youll forget about all the pains in ass it took to get her going again, it took me a year and half but i started froma bare frame at times i thought i would never get to ride again but now it was all worth it.

huy guys, looking for a throttle cable for a thumb throttle, a timing chain, and the bolts that hold the rocker cover on. as long as they are in useable shape it works for me, bought it not running and just trying to get her to fire before i put to much money it its for the wife
  9. wow!!! a few of you need to do some actuall research on the differences between a cast and a forged piston, of a cast and a forged anything for that matter!!! not saying who though cause i dont want to get into a pissing match, but now ive heard everything
  10. wow i wish i woulda seen these kits berfore i bought my front end!
  11. just +2 wider, and the shocks are tripple rates compressesion and ride height adjusatable
  12. the laegers also fit without reaming
  13. as far as i know elka is the only one making a long travel rear, i will be gettin it in aug hopefully
  14. ya before i had this setup i had the stock a arms and works tripple rate with remote resiviors, and thought those were great till i got my current setup. but from elka all you can get is dual rates for stock shock length a arms and tripple rates for the long shock (long travel) a arms for the banshee. i wanted to get quad rates but the shock mounting points are closer ( shorter shocks ) and therefore the shocks are only 17.5 inches long (i think) compared to like yfz450 long travel shocks that are 19.5 inches long, so there is not enough room for a 4th spring on the banshee long travel where as the 450s and the 400es and such alow the room neccasary for quad rates.
  15. i got lagers long shock plus 2 a arms and elka tripple rate pigybacks with compression adjust, with a standard shock +2 a arm if you get elkas you can only get dual rate shocks witch means if you get the ssd shocks you are always on the main( the stiffest spring) and get alot rougher ride, were as with tripple rates you are mainly riding on the secondary spring which is alot softer than the main spring and you get alot better ride and alot better handling.
  16. probally not, most organizations require you to have your rear fenders still on
  17. i use my shee for mx and thats about it, i dont trail ride much and never drag it, just many many happy days at the track, i love coming out of a corner next to a 4 poke and leavin them wondering wtf happened!
  18. its also the wires going into your parking brake lever and the wires going into your thumb throttle, when you buy a removal kit it comes with a new throttle cable and carb caps and a tap and drill bit and new idle screws, yu basically take all that crap of, throw it in the trash, pull your carbs off to drill and tap the idle screw holes, put the carbs back on adjust the throttle cable and your done
  19. you can get all the types of yamabond through rocky mountain
  20. well i guess if the voltage regulater was removed they were proablay getting more than they could handle and blew
