i also do powdercoating and if you do get them done make sure whoever does it uses high temp powder, for exmple standard chrome powder is baked at 75 degres less than standard colors cause it will start to yellow and lose its shineness at higher temps, it gets baked at 325 for 20 min and if you leave it in to long it will also start to yellow, just think how it would look after a day of riding with your pipe temps!

if you go to fmfs website and look at there jetting chart it says to run 260s also i have fattys with powercore 2s and been runnin 260s stock pilots, just rebuilt my top end after 7 years of hard ridding and it was still runnin like a rapped ape '

torque is 20 ft lbs for the jugs and the head, as far as the bearings i would change them just as insurance, would hate to screw up the new top end

ya theres a seal there, sure you could probally get just that one but for 35 bucks you can a set that includes that one plus every other seal for your motor

mine wouldnt shift once and it only ended up being the shift shaft itself was bend and binding maybe youll get that lucky too

just went through the same thing, what i found was the cheapest rebuild for the crank wich had all new bearings and new rods was 291 bucks cheapest labor to install new bearings and rods on crank 120 bucks total over 400 bucks without truing and welding! brand new hod rods crank trued and welded from fast 418 bucks to the door! so for me it was a real easy decision
