  1. well my -1 lonestar swingarm came today, i know im gonna have to knock a couple links out, was just wondering if anyone is runnin a -1 and how many links they got as a reference with stock tooth count sprockets
  2. elka only makes dual rate shocks for stock lenght applications, to get the tripple rates you have to get long shock a arms ( know as long travel ) i have laeger +2 long shock arms and elka tripple rates with the ssd spring
  3. it all depends how you get the shocks sprung, a shock set up for trail riding will sit higher, the reason you hear the elkas sit lower is because if you get them set up with the ssd (self saging spring) the first spring is real light so it compresses under the weight of the bike so it rides lower but you stil have full shaft travel and the valving does the work, you can get elkas set up for trail riding without the ssd spring or dunes ar whatever you want. i dont think the works shocks are available with the ssd spring, or some compananies call them zero preload shocks because you can change the ride height without changing the spring rate

  9. half premium and half race gas, for instance i put 2.5 gallons of 93octane pump gas and 2.5 gallons 108 octane race gas in my 5 gal jug
  10. if your at around 160psi and up its time to at least run 50 50 mix, but it can vary with every engine, compression and timing are the main factors that determin if you need more octane,
