  3. While I feel your pain around the ride situation, being from CT this is the same issue. Getting a street bike will not fill the void of being on dirt, that is for sure and I will agree with the others. There are many things to think about with sport bikes, what kind, how big, insurance, and can you afford one. Most people look at getting a bike to get chicks or jsut to ride, but if you are going to get super serious on it you would be looking at getting a helmet, leathers, gloves ect.. Not that I am preaching, but as others have said dodging soccer moms on a bike is a full time job.. There are a couple thngs you could do. Sell off the banshee and get a smaller less expensive to operate one then get a bike with the left overs from the sale. Keep the banshee and get a street bike. You could also just off the banshee and get a bike, either way they are usually both only ridden on nice days, and you will miss being off road once in a while. The DRZ's are pretty sweet man! This is my Supermoto, KTM 525 converted to street.
  4. I think it is all personal preference, chrome looks sweet, powder you can pick your color. They both at some point will come to an end and need to be redone. I personally have run both and feel that with proper care they both will last.

  16. 1994 Yz125 Runs great needs radiator shrouds. The screws pulled through $1200 bucks. Connecticut is the location.
  17. I just shipped a frame 3 weeks ago, through FedEx. Wrapped it up in cardboard, taped the hell out of it, and shipped it. The weight was 52 lbs, and box measured something like 60x19x21 cost was somewhere just over 100 bucks from CT to NE.
  18. I have a set of triple non rezzy serviced about a year ago, and in the factory box ready to ship.
  19. The biggest factory in coating is to make sure the shop is decent clean, and will back their work. Second question is with the price is the prep included, this should include a bake off, sandblasting, tape and plugging holes, as well as the coating. As far as a banshee frame is concerned for coating, they concider it a large frame with sub-frame, there is minimal tape work involved, but a ton of plugging. Area to tape off is the inside of the bearing for the steering stem, and the rear brake mount. Most of whats left on the rest of the frame is plug work. Here we get $350 for a single color such as black, and $425 for a two stage color like a candy. The breakdown is like this for another style frame like a 400ex where the sub-frame is removable. Color black Frame-$275 Sub-frame-$75 Candy color Frame-$325 Subframe-$100
  20. I sold theshee a few powderdcoated parts, promt payment, easy transaction. Hope sometime in the future I have something else he may want. No regrets about selling to him!
  21. Thanks guy you all are great buyers. I am glad you like them! -Tj
  22. Spindles are sold! Thanks TheShee.. Make some offers on the other things. I just don't want to use E-bay.
  23. Here is what the polished ceramic looks like. This is not hot jets coating but the place that I help out. For the most part it's all the same, just the name of who does it. Also the shield is high temp black if you are wondering. This will dull with hotter temps but, it can be polished out with mothers or something similar. The reason they are getting so much money to do the jobis the coating inside and out, you are talking twice the surface area of the pipe. If you have any questions feel free to ask, there are many people here who have my work, and I have answered questions for. -Tj
