  1. That thing looks like fun! Good luck with the sale, should be a great deal for someone.
  2. Okay guy's I have decided to sell this project. I will be taking a loss on it, but I know someone will want this. I am looking to get $3800 for it. Feel free to ask questions, I will answer them all. To get this thing running you will need the following parts. 1. Airbox with the battery re-locator 2. Chain, I think I may have an extra though 3. Axle nut This thing has not even been fired up since the motor was rebuilt. To make this think pretty much show or track ready you will need the following 1. Plastics, the stock yellows aren't the best against the orange. 2. Tires to go on the the extra set of powdercoated rims. 3. Shocks for the front, as it has stockers on it now, just to hold it up. It's a 2002 400ex 2002 400ex gusseted and powdercaoted frame with title. ASR pro +2+1 black braided brake lines front and rear I have stock rims powdercoated black chrome need tires, but I also have the stock rims with tires on them. All new bearings throughout, the bike Stainless steel swing arm bolt G-force +2 axle Sub-frame now has a removable grab bar battery box tabs removed, so this will need the relocation box for the battery. Houser racing +2 stem with anti-vibe fat bar ASV levers clutch and brake Larger oil cooler coated black chrome. The motor is a 426 hi-compression JE piston stage2 hot cam, with the stronger timing chain. Cometic head gaskets. Thanks guy's Tj
  5. Please leave me feedback. So others know how I operate. Thanks, Tj
  6. Other than the bore that bike is STOCK... Not bashing just letting you know that is not near race ready.
  7. The rear doors have a handle on the inside of the jam. Those are suicide not the front doors.
  8. I have done more than a few jugs, they are fine with low temp bake offs. I have heard that nikosil is bad to bake off and coat, but I did a set not to long ago, and have not heard back. I assume they are fine. Why not bake off the side cover? As long as it is not a magnesium cover it will be fine.
  9. Ratio rite cup! I ran 32:1 with the maxim oil, and 80w maxim tranny lube.
  10. Stock shocks don't have much to adjust. You will need to just turn the body to full pre-load. I would suggest a set of works or something cheaper with more adjustabilty. If you want to concider something like that I have a set of triple rates, that will work out great for you.
  11. You should use a sandblaster, they get into all the little areas you cant touch with paper. It will not really affect the how the powder sticks if you get it right. The bake off is more important because it gets all the oils and such off the metal.
  12. It should yes. It may not flake up but sandblasting afterwards is suggested.
  13. Paint will actually bake off at about 400*
  14. You can bake it off by placing the item in the oven you are using, turning it up to 600* and let it stand till the powder begins to flake. It will look like a chared marshmellow.
  15. I realize my truck looks are not for everyone. If they were it would not be "MY" truck. So far I am pleased with the way it looks, at one point or another there were things I didn't like I fixed them and moved on. I tried several hoods before settling on this one, in person it looks better than the pictures. My back seat the base lifts up just the same as you described, I wanted more than a 10" sub. I opted for the 12" the enclosure was a pain to build it had to have poly fill to trick the sub as well. I did not have to lift the seat base to make it fit either. There are a few companies out there that make boxes for these trucks to fit 12's without the seat being moved.
  16. I have a Sidewinder ti-moly sprocket set 15t front and 41t rear, with the ti- chain if you have any intrest. I think that is the sprocket sizes I will check later this week. I also have a stock length swinger powder coated Vein Red.

    wanted plastics

Thanks for the UP! He's pretty close so there won't have to be shipping.
  18. Not really much to like if you remove all that stuff  I do not have pictures of the sub enclosure, hard to tell what it is anyhow, I carpeted it to look like the factory storage box.
