If they are too soft work with what adjustments you have. New main springs wont do it You will need a revalve definatly Works are usualy stiff shocks when they are setup rite.
-
You will get alot more wear out of the Razr IIs definatly worth the money. I love the XCRs but they do wear fast. Do you ride on pavement to get to trails or do you spend most of your time flying around on pavement if so Kenda makes good inexpensive tires that werar pretty good.

Lost the quad in my house fire!
Washburn replied to thecabinboy's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I feel for you, I know how it is to lose everything in a fire just thank God noone was hurt. I have spare items if you need them and Im sure other people on this board will be more than willing to help in your time of loss if you need anything feel free to ask. -
The thickest rope chain you can buy and a master lock through the sprocket and swingarm and I attatch it to a steel bed frame

Ive always been a fan of the douglas wheels super strong and you can get an offset but dont go to crazy +2+1 arms for the Banshee are the ticket. I will be buying the Douglas Beadlocks strongest wheels Ive ever seen Pricey but they will last. And yellow lable should be fine for the desert strong and light.

Awsome Jon, Thank you for the kind words  You will definatly have the nicest handeling ride at the dunes thats for sure

I rode a Craptor this weekend with a full exhuast/jet kit and I was almost bored. I was really suprised at how slow it felt compared to mine and Im not ported. They stand up way to easy even when they are totaly stock, the power range was the exact same the whole way through. I jumped on my Banshee and I knew I would crush him in a drag and Im runing pig ritch. I still cant see how a piped and jetted 450 will come close to me in a drag. Im going to run a few 300-500ft straight line on dirt and street next time I go up I will be sure to tell you guys how it goes. I can tell you this for a fact I dont have a single problem passing them up in the trails and I dont even have my A-Arms or suspension on yet.

Cool thanks guys, Ill probably end up buying a half decent one and some other tools to take some bikes apart to see what I can salvage to either work on or sell would be the wisest. Well Im off for the weekend for a few races wish me luck Ill need it with stock components. BTW I was a second away from snaging this 2:1 Trinity setup but Im going with a 4mil grunt port setup so they will be pretty open So I need a 35 This 33 PWK setup would be killer for a stock or woods ported Banshee everything you need. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BANSHEE-CAR...098737573QQrdZ1

I mean he cant be horible at it, but mabey I am just the better racer in a straight line its possible. I still want to find out what my machine can do against an equal rider on all of the 450s. I agree there is more to drag racing. Ive always been good at both woods racing and Drag. Drag you have reaction time Focus, Controling the bike off the holeshot, launching in the rite gear and shifting your bike at its peak RPM in each gear without maxing it out it has to be just about perfect if you against a machine that can hang in a straight line with you add that to the excitment and thats the most part of drag. I Woods race and am going to do GNCC series because of the skill level involved and the feeling you get finishing a race is like nothing else finishing and winning now thats a combo that very few people get to feel. On another note I raced a 2 mile stretch of some of the hardest ofthe hard trail elements that I never got a chance to test ride on Friday with alot of 450s some with suspension/Motor mods Trick Raptors and 2 trick blasters only a few people dident have suspension and alot of the guys on the modded 450s race in the Pro AM GNCC class around here and I am damn DAMN proud to say I took third rite behind 2 450rs with suspension both riders practice and have practiced all of their lives racing these envirorments. Im still AMPED!!!!

Lonestar does make top quality parts no doubt I bought their +2+1 racing A-Arms for my banshee and Im very happy with my purchase. If I had a 400ex or one of the new 450s, I would definatly go with the JB Racing A-Arms and Swingarm. They are made with the same material as Laeger, Lonestar, roll design,ect.. but they make them alot beefier so you can punish and abuse them as much as you want and they will stand strong. Second choice would be Laeger. They make top notch products as well. http://www.jbatvracing.com/aarms.php I can get some pretty nice deals on JB Racing products if your intrested PM me.

I agree for MX Racing I wouldnt go anything short of chromoly. I know if I rode on one of the ones you listed I would bend or snap it. I would consider a shorter than stock swingarm for added cornering ability and traction.

FS chrome PT MIDS in great shape
Washburn replied to zpolencheck's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
I second that. His pipes are in perfect condition and they look like new. -
Last summer I smoked a piped/jetted yfz450 by 2 bike lengths almost toped in 5th. He got me on the holeshot and I cought up in mid 3rd and left him with just pipes and head with 20cc domes and I had Mudsharks on the rear I think he had stockers. I know the guy who rides the 450 is an awsome trail rider so I cant see why he would be bad at drag racing. I also beat a Modded 440ex and Lost to a diffrent 440ex. I want to race a few other 450rs and yfz450s this spring with my VF3s and advanced timing. I want to race a bunch of diffrent ones to see the result but from my expirence My Banshee took it.

Cool bro, Let me know when you find it Ide like to check it out. I got my buddie DJ hooked on the 2 stroke addiction and he always wanted a Zilla so thats going to be his next purchase He would like it as close to stock as possible (if any of you guys know of any Ide appricate if you passed the info) after he gets his 8-900 something holley carb for his 383 stroker Camero 583 RWHP BEAST DOES DOUGHNUTS ON A DIME POWER TO THE GROUND MOST POWERFULL CAR IVE EVER RODE IN! and since Im letting him ride my Banshee so freely/Espically when I get my Elkas, He will be the only one I let even sit on. I think its about that time for me to Take "THE BITCH" For a ride

Rite I bought mine used about 8 months ago its an 03 and when I put my Noss Head on I checked and its still on its original bore and Im kicking 150psi in each cylinder Mods in sig Timing Plate still not Installed. Routine matnince and how much/hard you ride will play the biggest factors. I know a few people with some stock cyl motors that are ported pretty heavly with all of the bolt ons and their topends lasted 3 years some longer.Proper jetting, fresh fuel, clean filter, and every HP mod you should find a counter mod for reliability. Dont let it run if its not running rite without checking it out. Tighten all of the bolts after a weekend of riding and your Top End will be as reliable as any other bike that is mantained properly. Rite like stated make sure you warm it up to operating temp by bliping the throttle every few seconds then feel the Head when its nice and warm to the touch your ready to ride. Take it slow through the gears when starting off. Sometimes the carbs can load up on you making it sputter a little untill you blow them out espically if you dont shut the fuel off after every ride. Then let it RIIIIIIIP. Thats how I do it.

heh, Mabey 187 mph with the rear tires spinning on a dyno with noone on it. I dunno know about that one. The pic with the 2 power rangers gripping hands on the Banshee and LT500 Big Bore Wars is so Badass. I wish I would of seen that before I bid on the other one. Ide have that framed. Firehead if you could check into something like that being enlarged and framed I would definatly be intrested. http://cgi.ebay.ca/87-DIRT-WHEELS-MAGAZINE...1QQcmdZViewItem

Rite make sue everything is sealed up nice and tight. check both of your slides notched end twoards the air box. Check your floats they may be sticking and make sure they are getting fuel, crossover tube, if you take them apart again blow the jets out with air and use that carb cleaner to clean them so not even a spec of dirt is in them, and turn in your idle screws all the way in then turn hem both out to 1/12 then go from 1/2 incriment turns from there.

Wow Impressive stuff. That Orange with glitter looks intence. That is one Sick ass 450R too OKBEAST I know NMOTION does some sick stuff with 2 and 4 strokes so that must be a runner. What type of riding do you guys do? Who did those Plastics for you YFZ? Ide love to have something like that done if I ever got a drag bike.
