They are damn nice and they do hold up as long as you dont plan on getting caught up in anything hairy and fliping it on its side to get it out. Plus black spraypaint covers up scratches pretty good with the powdercoat  Yes they replace the stock footpegs and they should bolt rite up. I do have to say my DG Steel series nerfs are almost indistructable

Either Im ported with an agressive woods port my TR6s I havent opened the cyls yet to really get a good look (But I dont think I am). or you guys just arent riding correctly. Ive beat 450s and I just made a 700 Raptor look foolish in the dirt and I weighed 120lbs or so more than him. Then I ate him up in the woods. Im the better rider but we switched bikes and I still was faster without a doubt on mine. I fail to see how all of these Banshees are getting ate up by 450s in a drag. Its been a while since Ive rode another Banshee to compare besides trick Banshees that eat mine in a drag I get them in the woods :ermm:

Stock suspension is literaly DANGEROUS on an MX track. The rear shock has preload that you can stiffen up but your still gonna bottom out and eat the track. If you want to do any MX You NEED to upgrade. You can look into the Options everyone listed Above. Lonestar Rec A-Arms and standerd Elka e36s that you can upgrade to Piggyback later on if you want to go that way will run you about $1000 from us. And they will definatly be valved correctly. I advise against ordering shocks, any kind of shocks, from a pull down screen. Plus we are very hard to beat price wise. Look around on this board and look up my user name and Buchanan Racing. We have alot of satisfied customers and we sell Alot of everything else too. Definatly a one stop shop. Our website is comming soon. We also sell Works shocks and they are a little less And Custom Axis and they are more than Both If you are working on a very limited budget you can upgrade to the YFZ setup witch will help some. You will be able to ride faster and practice harder till your ready to start competeing. but if your gonna push the Banshee to any kind of Limit Now. You need to think about aftermarket shocks and A-Arms. PM or E Mail me if you would like to go over options. [email protected]

Craigslist or Ebay Put it at 3000 500 shipping and a buy it now with the 3900 tag and free shipping Clean it up real nice, Go over it and list every single mod. PS Dont list anything about you legal issues or you will get lowballed. People make mistakes some more than others but there is no reason to make it public just learn from your mistakes.

The LT setup can be good in cirten situations motocros very very long whoops sections, but Ive seen people go back to standered travle for MX and GNCC/ Trail riding after having the LT setup. Sometimes its to much. I would look at a stndered travle setup dont rule that out. Janssen definatly makes quality products though I wouldnt hae a problem running any of their stuff. Also I would never have my rear stocker reworked. Its not worth it when you can save up 00 more and get an Elka Works TCS Axis ect rear. You can look us up and I could work with you on seup options. I can definatly work out a nice deal with you too. Just PM or email me. We sell alot more than shocks too. At great prices. As for the DMC 916s I think they are the same type of pipe as the toomey T5s. Ive rode them and couldnt tell much diffrence beteen the two. And they are super loud.

Race gas ratio/ where do i get it?
Washburn replied to CRAZY-SHEE!'s topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
I have 3 gas tanks 1 5 gals of VP 110 1 5 93 And one for mixing. I put 2 gals and 2 into the tank and put 16oz of Castor927 in thats 32:1. As for where to get it try to find a local shop. Ask everybody where and who they get their race gas ect from and go there. Some gas stations sell high test. AV100 Gas from a local airport would do it with your setup and all you have to do is look for one of them Or buy it off the net. Look for the best prices and wave your options. just search well if you really want it. Or for your setup just get some 93-94 octane and listen to see if you hear any detonation pinging ratteling/recycling of metal sound anywhere. Its a very distinct sound. -
Pivot works is a bearing kit they sell to upgrade from the stock bronze bushings to needle roller bearings on stock suspension and many other components. Works with rezzies are a good aftermarket shock replacment from stock and Ohlins makes a very good rear shock for the Banshee and many other aplications. Check the links up top to see if your getting a good replacment over stock or just rebult stockers.

Alrite RIPPEN you da MAN!!!!!!! I forgot about this and its gonna be a good event. It looks like Gonzaga is gonna be gonzagaEOD on his ass but if he does pass Cro Cops devistating offence hard knees and speedy defence and get him on the ground he could be submited it hahappened before. Though Im sure his ground game has improved Gonzaga is obviously the better of the two on the ground and with submissions and he has a super tough chin definatly take a punch or two but not a kick or two. This should be good. yes it starts at 9:00 Central

You know I can help you out with the A-Arms. Like I said the LSR Racng A-Arms will handle all of the abuse you give them then some. I can do you better than that 8 something price and thats with Lonestar breaklines and shipping for the racing A-Arms. I think you could get away with LSR Rec Arms, but if your getting the Elkas and top of the line everything else well like I said about strength. Laeger makes a great product but they dont offer them in the +1 forward anymore. I called I asked they simply dont press them that way for the Banshee anymore. One thing I dident mention, we got around it somehow, Roll Design sure do make nice products but that is for the unlimited budget. As for the 400 and under A-Arms I cant recomend you because I have never personaly ran them. If you do end up buying a set make sure they are +2+1 and chromoly dont settle for anything less. Heim Joints, caster and camber, and grease fittings are all good things to look for in A-Arms also.

Ill PM you with some info Climb

Well anyone out there can do a basic woods port but if you want to get into specifics you will need a woods port in terms of material taken out not too much and you don want your ports raised high or you will have too much topend but if your looking for more lowend your ports will have to be changed more ports dirlled in the intake are optional. I get all motor work done by Cody Buchanan of Buchanan Racing. He builds some very gnarly 2 stroke engines with the lowend TQ To shut a 450s lights out.Nasty start out and cornering power and you will still have that 2 stroke hit with as much HP reving from 9-11000 RPMs whatever your choice. I prefer it dropping off at 9000 RPMs so Im not overreving from corner to corner. If you would like more info on what he can do for you PM me and I will give you all of the information you need and his number so he can explain all of this to you.

I run Castor 927 at 32:1 over Yamalube because t burns much cleaner and it has more film strength witch makes it better at higher temps the smell is just a bonus. What kind of riding do you do? Tires should be your first mod it will drasticaly improve how your bike handles and depending on what tires you get they will help with traction and addedpower to the ground for HP Mods The first thing you should do to wake your Banshee up is get a set of Pipes depending on your riding style and where you want your power is how you should decide on what set to buy Then Reeds NossHead with smaller domes Timing Plate All of those mods will give you plenty of power then you should look into handling components A-Arms suspension Axle If you need anything feel free to PM or E mail me [email protected] and I will hook you up.

The funniest part about it is he claims 25,000 in mods(Bullshit), brand new Banshee 7000 tops (This is an 02) thats 32,000 LOL Where the hell did 45k come from? is he some sort of magical creation that when his ass gets on the seat it automaticaly makes the price go up 13,000 dollars. Cocaine is one hell of a drug!

I think thats the same Banshee that was on ebay around 4 months ago and sold for something like 9Gs and an HQ member bought it. Oh well Ebay is just gonna charge him for putting it up unless P diddy or snoop doggy dodo forks up the cizash for it. Crazy people.

Banshee Pro Design Adjustable Timing Plate
Washburn replied to woodwardspecialties's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
That is not a Billit Pro Design Timing Plate. 50 bucks for one would be a steal. We sell them for 76.00 Brand new. -
I have had a very plesant transaction with Allan. Hes a straight up guy who knows what he wants, listens and gives great feedback. If any of you have a chance to do any transactions with Allan you will be more than happy. Great guy, Entertaining too

You will be fine with a stock swingarm but a -1 will really help you out -2 is too much you will have a hard time keeping it down -2 is good for flattrack not MX If you ask me. If the guy porting your bike is matching the ports with the 4mil crank and porting it for FMF pipes and you have 30mm carbs you will have no need to go with a longer swingarm and your rite they do hurt in the trails and on the track. I would sell those 30mm carbs and get a Trinity 2:1 setup with a PWK 35 Carb it really improves lowend and it smooths out the powerband. A Good strong Chromoly swingarm is the best way to go for your riding conditions -1 will move the wheels more twoards the motor for great hook up and better cornering abilitys and thats what its all about. If you have adjustments options on your Works dial them in all the way soft do a few laps then adjust them all the way stiff do a few more laps and adjust from there to where you think the shocks will work best for you Jumping long or cornering have a setup for both and remember even write down your adjustments. Also for all of the dirt riding your doing ditch the pods and put an airbox and either a K&N in there you can squese out a little more power with a K&N but its not worth the problems if you ask me or get a 2:1 Uni Filter and use sticky oil like BelRay foam filter oil. You can mod your Airbox lid by cutting 1' holes in it and placing filters in the holes you cut for better air flow. You will NEED to do this espically if you get into any water whatsoever.
-
Wow only 12 years old, I suguest you just practice and practice and practice some more to be as fast as you possibly can be on your Banshee however you ride it then start to think about mods. Practice is the best Mod you will ever have and you will keep getting faster the more you do it.
-
Well you could get boyesen power reeds for better acceleration and a little bit more power, have you head milled .030 over and get a timing plate set at +4 for more compression just watch so your running enough octane it will definatly help untill you do get pipes. If you cant find parts over there shipping is gonna kill you. I could get you a total on any parts you want and a USPS shipping quote but Ide imagine its not gonna be cheap. I just took an order of about 30lbs to ship to Australia and shipping alone was 140.00. Yu would probably be better off buying everything you need at once to cut shipping costs. Saving up for a couple months would be the best and most responcible thing you could do then I will see what kind of deal I can get for you on Pipes and everything else shipped.
-
What kind of power are you looking for? You have to explaine a little more before I or anyone can help you out but I will tell you rite now you are restricting everything with stock pipes you cant give them away. If you Dune CPIs are always a good choice and they have inframe style you just cant hug the quad with your legs witch you shouldnt be doing anyway you need your legs out a little more for turns and overall stability. I race mine in the roughest conditions imaginable and I do pretty good. Ive rode with Pro GNCC/MX riders my whole life this isent just my oppion. Take it for what its worth.
-
Pipes, They wont stick out that far and if your leg is hitting them your not on it rite. I could get you any part you need and I do ship anywhere but to be honost Pipes are going to make the biggest diffrence with Reeds more compression by milling your head or buying a coolhead and smaller domes and advancing your timing. Thats what I have and I destroy 450s and Craptors. What kind of riding do you do what elevation are you at?
-
I would be will to meet ya or pay you for gas to drive it here I have 1 location in Pittsburgh PA 15201 and 1 in Harrisville 16038 Im trying to get this for a buddie who scrapped his frame and components and is trying to restore his warroir, sell his Craptor and get a Rhino Let me know what ya got!
