  1. My left one is alright, but my right one does hit the radiator hose pretty good. I dont have a temp gauge, but I went on some pretty good rides with it and didnt have any overheating or burst hose issues.
  2. I dont know what you'll end up doing, but if you need any dimensions I have a set of sst silencers. Im sure along with the length there will be some bends to deal with.
  3. All of ours at work have "access holes" cut in the box!!!
  4. That's wrong in SO many ways!!!! :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: And I thought Heinekken was for sissies :: That shirt does bring out your eyes, though, Brad  Where do you buy your gel at? I'm runnin' low and could use a couple cases :yelrotflmao:
  5. 32 here. Just got my first Banshee last summer! Had a Blaster and Quadsport 230 when I was a kid and rode the damn wheels of 'em. Always wanted a Banshee or 'R and I felt that it was a now or never type of deal. Glad I got one and a couple buddies even bought quads last summer (4X4's). It's always more fun to ride with pals, no matter what they're riding. I guess it is natural to have SOMETHING laying around that you can go fast/accelerate/hammer on!! One thing I noticed is that it is a different kind of fun now. The endless summer days of bombing down trails without a care in the world when you're 12 or 14 yrs old with a bunch of buddies are irreplaceable. So to all you punks out there, have fun!!!!
  6. If you ask him
  7. Do a leakdown test before you pull the jugs off. That will tell you the shape of your seals. If you find a leak and end up splitting the cases, then you may decide to have the crank done at the same time!
  8. Fuck that, if he wants it bad enough he'll figure out how to use paypal. He probably isn't even familiar with the item he is trying to buy from you. Is this an exact change deal or are you supposed to send him some leftover money from this huge check that someone is dropping off for you?
  9. Visited that site for the first time today, lmao...but, I couldn't find the drill instructor stuff, where's it at?
  10. Guess you got your money's worth out of that stock bore  You need to take those jugs to someone that is competent in boring and have them measure the bore. Prolly needs to be freshened up a bit, just cause it was running when you tore it down doesn't mean you don't need a bore/hone. Why the Coolhead? A big reason to run them is to bump compression up and set it where you want it.. but it does cool better also. If your wanting more compression most will recommend welding the crank. I have heard alot of good things about F.A.S.T. clutch kits, economical and hold up to abuse as well or better than the rest..... Just my .02,
  11. Says the item is unavailable
  12. 11 7/8" tall X 10 7/16" wide. I just happened to have a stock one laying around, it's a little wavy but those measurements are pretty close. Hope it turns out.
  13. Yeah, those throwback colors on the shee and 450 are best looking by far, cool bike!!!!
  14. search for "PLUGCHOP", that will teach you to dial it in. If I had to guess, i'd say your in the ballpark. Get some pipes!
  15. Mods? What did you do to the bike that you've rejetted?
  16. Is that to say you've never rejetted the bike since buying it, or do you know for a fact that the jets are stock? Pipes and a filter + 10 degree temps with stock jets? Thats a time bomb, man!!! Do a search for "plugchop", this procedure is a must for us 2 strokers.
  17. Got mine from Yamaha of Troy for about $330 to my door
  18. Like in real estate......location, location, location ::
  19. Almost bought one last year, I think the the 500's don't have a counterbalance shaft that leads to excessive vibration. Also the frame needs to be gussetted to accomodate the extra torque/HP. I say "almost bought" because I was one of those suckers that sent Western Union on Ebay! Ahh, to be trusting and naive on Ebay... ::
  20. I live in the U.P. and we usually lose 25-40 snowmobile riders a season with alcohol related crashes......something to think about
  21. Could be a good indication of what condition the bike is in mechanically. Sounds a little ignorant. Washburn, I hate seeing your posts because I have to click on that f'ing Beastie Boys/Cypress hill video EVERY time. You owe me hours of my life back!!!!!!
  22. Cant help with the carbs, but.... I dont think you want to trade your T5's for T6's if you're going to get porting done. From what I understand the 5's respond better to ported motors.
  23. Just quit for new year, about a can every 2 days. Mostly at work, just seemed to pass the time and where I work you can spit anywhere you want, for the most part. Just saw a nasty vid clip on Consumptionjunction (anyone got a light? was the title, I think) You know, jawless dudes, cancerous lungs, ect.. Glad I quit, at least for now..........
  24. Just below where you replied a few minutes ago there is a spot that reads "New Topic", there you go. Also found on the top of the page in the same loc. Try out the SEARCH located on the toolbar on top of the page and you will be able to read for a week on CUBS.......... Try to use the search as often as possible first before making a post, you will usually find your answer there...especially if your going to ask "Which is faster" or anything about a boost bottle, Man, these guys will eat you up!!!!! Welcome!!!!!
  25. You can have some fun with him and tell him some stuff about the banshee like; the four-wheel drive is not working and It has an aftermarket 100 gallon gas tank...... but you decided you want an extra $5K for the bike. He'll be like, "Still sounds like a good deal......"
